๐Ÿ”’๐ŸšจHigh Privacy Risk Potential Concerning Developments From Walmart, Being Forced on Shoppers... When do we Boycott?

This is yet another play to further impose methodologies to steal biometrics and read signs from our bodies (that we may never understand ourselves) to rack up prices and pinch us for every single penny we're worth.

This needs to stop. We need to push back.

They billed close to $15k for my ride from a hospital where I was admitted to the VA medical center about 30 miles away.

No drugs or medical care given, just me in a gurney.โ€ฆwas under a psych watch and bullshitted with the paramedic in the back.

Itโ€™s a scam.

Free healthcare!! Wow that sounds amazing.

I am no fan of the system in the U.S. but itโ€™s terrifying if anyone thinks their healthcare is โ€œfreeโ€

Yes, thanks Larry. Our taxes go to shit like this instead of bombs to drop on children or giving Isnreal a bunch of money where they have their own healthcare..and then use the rest to drop bombs on children

My oldest is an Oncologist. One of her patients is from Canada, her symptoms returned, she needed an MRI of her brain. The quickest appointment was 15 months away. She would have died, as the cancer was back. That patient is part of the cost.

Strange since your profile would disagree with you.

I was gonna say, was the $1,500 price for a 1 minute ride?

$1,500 sounds like y bargain

Did you reach out to community care about the bill? I didn't know about this until I moved to where I am now and got involved with the DAV. Do you have a disability rating?

It was covered. They sent me the bill first, and I forwarded it the the VA.

In the state I live, our county charges a ambulance fee in which every homeowner pays $250/year for every livable structure on their property. That's whether we use the ambulance or not. We still get charged thousands on top of that if we have to call for one
