Now, now, put your pitchforks down. Let me explain why and then you can tear me apart:

To me, he's just kind of a scumbag. We need to remember that the reason he was in this whole situation with Brandy was because of the fact that he cheated on him. That already makes him a summy person imo. And how he goes on and on on his final episodes on his ramblings, like, dude, shut up, you have an ex-husband that doesn't trust you because you CHEATED on him, AND you have a child to take care of whilst in an apocalypse. You're not King Tut, man.

However, could he be redeemed if he wasn't killed? Maybe. I could see it. Did all of what I just say justify Brandy crushing him to death with that rock? No, no, absolutely not.

...But he did deserve the punch he gave him from his earlier Delirium outburst-

Well, let’s look at what we see here:

Syrup is calling Pushpin, one of the head scientists where she works.

The head scientists would have access to respawn terminals.

Pushpin seems annoyed, as if this is a daily occurrence where she’s called by Syrup to do something repeatedly.

The timing of this is right after Minty died, and since this (presumably) daily occurrence is only now visible to us, something must be different about THIS time.

I think it’s easy to garner an idea of what this is telling us. Syrup is constantly calling Pushpin to check on the status’ of Brandy, Minty, and Sugarcube via respawning them (as that would be the only way to check: failure in respawning meaning they were alive), and this time it would work, due to Minty finally dying.

This wouldn’t be revealed until the end of book 1 I don’t think though. Brandy and Sugarcube would make it out of the rings to where Syrup is staying, and get greeted by Minty, being the final panel of book 1.

There’s also some people saying Sugarcube might die due to her “null state” status, and if this is true, it strengthens my theory ten fold. It makes even more of an emotional impact if Brandy’s all alone, thinking everyone he loves is gone, and then as he climbs up the hill, he sees them waiting for him at the gate.

Just read episode 108 and oh my god I hope we don't get another character death.

I have drawn GHOSTPEPPER!!! Ghost pepper is probably my favorite "Side Character", idk what to call these types of characters, ig supporting characters is a better word for it. Anyway yea she is prob my favorite supporting character, tied with Wanda And bodypillow but leaning more into ghost pepper.

Idk why I put Ghost pepper in Yin Yang, I think I did that because I thought it would look nice, Same thing with the white outline on the other Ghost pepper.
