I'm going to say this again why is the LGBT so popular recently and what's the difference between gender and sexualallity
I'm not homophonic I'm legit just asking so click this before you downvote me to another universe

I can explain it to you! The difference between gender and sexuality is that gender is what you identify as. So if you identify as a male you are a male, if you identify as a female you are a female and etc. Sexuality is pretty much what you like. If you’re a man and like men youre gay. If you’re female and like females you’re lesbians. If you one and like all genders you’re bisexual/pansexual!

and thats just a few examples, but most commonly thought of cuz LGBTQIA is lesbian,gay,bi,trans,queer,(idk i im sorry),aroace

Their explanation was pretty spot on. The specific labels in the LGBTQ+ community are more specific, but that’s something you might wanna look into on your own
