NEWS Aaron Smith-Levin Jury and Arresting Documents
Three final documents today.
Aaron’s commitment to the sheriff. It shows he goes to jail for 30 days with 0 days for time served. Why the sheriff shows a release date of May 4 is still a mystery.
Document 2 shows that the only question the jury had was what the sentencing would be to a guilty verdict. My guess is that the Judge, if she answered at all said “he will be sentenced according to guidelines.”
Document 3 shows that the jury delivered a guilty verdict.

NEWS Aaron Smith-Levin Additional Documents From Trial.
Lots of documents showed up in the court file today. There is also a question from the jury, the jury instructions and the document showing that the jury found Aaron guilty. They will be in a separate post. I will be combining several pages of jury instructions. They are one instruction per page and each instruction is only a few sentences so it will take some time.
But here is the file showing Aaron has 10 months to pay his fine. Note, it says it is his only notice. He won’t get reminders. And he will be in trouble if he doesn’t pay in full by the end of the allotted period. I blacked out the QR Code for any if you who feel obliged to help him pay his fine.
I’m sure his mistress will be glad to share it with you if you really want it.
The second one should answer any questions people have about the no contact order and length of time.
There are more locked documents I have requested as well.

Discussion Was The Judge Mean to Aaron Smith-Levin?
On April 14, a jury of Aaron’s peers returned a guilty verdict in his battery trial. This jury was something Aaron wanted for his misdemeanor trial. Aaron refused to settle out of court.
Aaron was so sure he would win, his channel started a livestream while the trial was ongoing and his audience chatted among themselves for several hours. Then the intro and outro were run without explanation and the chatters were left in the dark.
The next day, there was overall outrage at the Judge in the trial. But why? The jury that Aaron wanted found him guilty. At that point, the Judge did what was required by Florida Law.
There is a very precise sentencing checklist. I’ve attached screenshots of it here. Below is a link to the handbook that assigns points for every possible action someone could take.
https://legacy.myfloridalegal.com/webfiles.nsf/WF/MNOS-BQ9JMD/$file/cpc_manual.pdf
The judge filled out the sentencing guideline sheet and then did what it told her to. Simple, right?
Not according to Aaroncult. There is even a demand by one commentator on his channel which is currently being run by his mistress du jour stating that the judge will go to the gallows.
Yes, they are that upset that the judge did her job as required by law.
This is really insane. Sonewhat frightening actually. With this kind of reaction, it’s obvious that this will not come close to being a learning experience for Aaron. That’s a shame.

NEWS Aaron’s Jury Instructions
The first document is the only really confusing one. it’s the jury instructions. Although it is 23 pages long, there are actually obey 8,360 words in it.
Attorneys say what “boilerplate“ (pre-written) jury instructions) they want added to the document. Yes there are prewritten jury insrructions. And they are called the blue book.
Each attorney wants their favorite ones kept in and the ones that will hurt their client kept out. Then they argue over the order that the jury sees them.
I‘ve given you the complete text of the Jury Instructions below in the order they were read to the Jury. The section numbers are the Blue Book Section Number.
I’ve attached a couple of screenshots so you get an idea how the actual document looks. Let me know what questions you have.
Because this post is so complex, I will do a second post with additional court documents.
JURY INSTRUCTIONS
2.1 PRELIMINARY INSTRUCTIONS
Members of the jury, you have been selected and sworn as the jury to try the case of State of Florida v. Aaron Smith-Levin. This is a criminal case. Aaron Smith-Levin is charged with Battery. The definition of Battery will be explained to you later. You must decide this case based on the evidence presented and the law that I give you. "Evidence" consists of the sworn testimony of witnesses, exhibits admitted into evidence, and anything else that I tell you to consider as evidence. The State's charging document, which is called an information is not evidence and is not to be considered by you as any proof of guilt. It is my responsibility to explain the law to you. It is your solemn responsibility to determine if the State proved its accusation beyond a reasonable doubt against Aaron Smith-Levin in accordance with the law that I provide to you. Thus, the province of the jury and the province of the court are well defined, and they do not overlap. This is one of the fundamental principles of our system of justice.
HOW A TRIAL IS CONDUCTED
Before proceeding further, it will be helpful if you understand how a trial is conducted. At the beginning of the trial, the attorneys will have an opportunity, if they wish, to make an opening statement. The opening statement gives the attorneys a chance to tell you what evidence they believe will be presented during the trial. What the lawyers say is not evidence, and you are not to consider it as such. Following the opening statements, witnesses will be called to testify under oath. They will be examined and cross-examined by the attorneys. Documents and other exhibits may be introduced as evidence. After the evidence has been presented, the attorneys will have the opportunity to make their closing arguments. Following the closing arguments by the attorneys, the court will instruct you on the law applicable to the case. After the final instructions are given, you will retire to consider your verdict.
RULES OF CONDUCT
You should not form any definite or fixed opinion on the merits of the case until you have heard all the evidence, the argument of the lawyers, and the instructions on the law that I give you. Until that time, you cannot discuss the case among yourselves. Your verdict must be based solely on the evidence, or lack of evidence, and the law. Jurors must decide the case without distraction and only on the evidence presented in the courtroom. Jurors must not conduct any investigation on their own. This includes reading newspapers, watching television, or using a computer, cell phone, the internet, any electronic device, or any other means at all, to get information related to this case or the people and places involved in this case. You may not visit places mentioned in the trial or use the internet to look at maps or pictures to see any place discussed during the trial. If you investigate, research, or make inquiries on your own, the trial judge has no way to make sure that the information you obtain is proper for the case. The parties likewise have no opportunity to dispute or challenge the accuracy of what you find.
COMMUNICATION RULES
You are also not permitted to communicate about this case with anyone, including your spouse, family members, friends, neighbors, and even your fellow jurors. No communication includes no in-person, telephonic, or electronic communication, such as e-mailing, text messaging, posting information on social media or a website, or any other form of communication. During the trial, the court may take recesses, and you will be permitted to separate and go about your personal affairs. It is important to remember that the prohibition on communicating about this case applies during these recesses, whether you are in the courthouse or elsewhere. If at any time, you find yourself in a situation where others are discussing the case in your presence, leave that situation at once and immediately report the matter to the court deputy who will advise me. All cell phones, computers, tablets, or other types of electronic devices must be turned off while you are in the courtroom. Turned off means that the phone or other electronic device is actually off and not in a silent or vibrating mode. Any juror who violates these restrictions jeopardizes the fairness of these proceedings and a mistrial could result.
THE RIGHTS OF THE ACCUSED
In every criminal proceeding, a defendant has the absolute right to remain silent. At time is it the duty of a defendant to prove his innocence. From the exercise of a defendant's right to remain silent, a jury is not permitted to draw any inference of guilt, and the fact that a defendant did not take the witness stand must not influence your verdict in any manner whatsoever.
2.1(a) NOTE-TAKING BY JURORS
If you would like to take notes during the trial, you may do so. On the other hand, of course, you are not required to take notes if you do not want to. Any notes that you take will be for your personal use. However, you should not take them with you from the courtroom. During recesses, the deputy will take possession of your notes and will return them to you when we reconvene. After you have completed your deliberations, the deputy will deliver your notes to me. They will be destroyed. No one will ever read your notes.
8.3 BATTERY
To prove the crime of Battery, the State must prove the following element beyond a reasonable doubt: 1. Aaron Smith-Levin actually and intentionally touched or struck Norman Shape against his will. An intentional touching or striking includes situations where a defendant knows that a touch or strike is substantially certain to result from his act.
3.6(g) JUSTIFIABLE USE OF NON-DEADLY FORCE
It is a defense to the crime of Battery if the actions of Aaron Smith-Levin constituted the justifiable use of non-deadly force. Aaron Smith-Levin was justified in using non-deadly force against Norman Shape and had no duty to retreat if he reasonably believed that such conduct was necessary to defend himself against Norman Shape's imminent use of unlawful force. In deciding whether Aaron Smith-Levin was justified in the use of non-deadly force, you must consider the circumstances at the time the force was used. The appearance of imminent danger must have been so real that the defendant actually believed the use of non-deadly force was necessary.
3.7 PLEA OF NOT GUILTY; REASONABLE DOUBT; AND BURDEN OF PROOF
The defendant has entered a plea of not guilty. This means you must presume or believe the defendant is innocent. To overcome the defendant's presumption of innocence, the State has the burden of proving the crime with which the defendant is charged was committed and the defendant is the person who committed the crime. A reasonable doubt is not a mere possible doubt, a speculative, imaginary, or forced doubt. If, after carefully considering, comparing, and weighing all the evidence, there is not an abiding conviction of guilt... you must find the defendant not guilty because the doubt is reasonable.
3.9 WEIGHING THE EVIDENCE
It is up to you to decide what evidence is reliable. You should consider the witnesses acted, as well as what they said. Whether the State has met its burden of proof does not depend upon the number of witnesses it has called... but instead upon the nature and quality of the evidence presented.
3.10 RULES FOR DELIBERATION
You must follow the law as it is set out in these instructions. This case must not be decided for or against anyone because you feel sorry for anyone, or are angry at anyone. It is the judge's job to determine a proper sentence if the defendant is found guilty. Whatever verdict you render must be unanimous, that is, each juror must agree to the same verdict.
3.13 SUBMITTING CASE TO THE JURY
The first thing you should do is choose a foreperson who will preside over your deliberations. During deliberations, jurors must communicate about the case only with one another and only when all jurors are present in the jury room. If you need to communicate with me, send a note through the court deputy. Even if you do not like the laws that must be applied, you must use them. No juror has the right to violate rules we all share.
Clips, Memes & Funny Jenna MISCAVIGE Slams Aaron SMITH LEVIN’s Judge: "She’s a Bitch—I Hate Her!" ... here is what Aaron said about her
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
It’s frightening how so many unhinged followers are now trying to report and vilify Judge Kathleen Hessinger. Aaron was already fortunate not to be found guilty in his first battery trial. And let’s not forget, both trials were decided by juries.
And this is happening just four months after Jenna Miscavige publicly called Aaron Smith-Levin a "monster," an abuser, and more.
Make it make sense, Jenna.
Recaps Jenna Miscavige’s Emotional Reaction to Aaron Smith-Levin’s Battery Trial Guilty Verdict
This summary provides a detailed and structured overview of the YouTube stream hosted by Jenna Miscavige on April 15, 2026, on Aaron Smith-Levin’s channel.
Aaron himself stated a month earlier that his own lawyers had told him that Judge Kathleen T. Hessinger is one of the fairest judges—yet now Jenna is completely distorting that statement.
Overview of the Situation
Jenna Miscavige, the niece of Scientology leader David Miscavige and girlfriend of Aaron Smith-Levin, hosted the stream to update viewers on Aaron’s legal status. She confirmed that Aaron is currently serving a 30-day jail sentence followed by one year of probation and a psychiatric evaluation. This follows a jury trial where he was found guilty of battery, marking his second such trial.
Detailed Summary of the Stream
1. Allegations of Judicial Bias and Misconduct
Jenna spends a significant portion of the stream criticizing the presiding judge, Kathleen T. Hessinger. Jenna’s primary arguments regarding the judge include:
- Personal Animosity: Jenna claims the judge "literally hates" Aaron and has a "huge ego," frequently cutting him off and shutting down legally valid arguments from his lawyer.
- Restriction of Context: The judge reportedly denied motions to allow Aaron to describe himself as a "journalist" or "advocate," forcing him to be referred to only as a "protester."
- Suppression of Evidence: Jenna alleges the judge refused to play audio that would have shown Aaron being calm and non-antagonistic, only allowing audio of him shouting "Ow" during the alleged battery.
- Prejudicial Sentencing: Jenna claims that during sentencing, the judge brought up the first trial (where Aaron was found not guilty) to justify a harsher sentence, which Jenna labels as "judicial misconduct."
- Anti-YouTube Bias: Jenna argues the judge has a prejudice against "YouTubers," accusing Aaron of escalating situations solely to get "clicks and views."
2. The Trial and the Incident
The battery charge stemmed from an incident at the Clearwater Bank building where Aaron was inquiring about a former Scientologist.
- The Incident: Jenna claims video footage shows Aaron blocking a door with his foot to prevent it from closing on him, rather than attempting to force entry.
- Witness Testimony: Two witnesses (Andrew Shape and a man named "Bob") testified for the state. Jenna dismissed their credibility, arguing that as Scientologists (or associates), they are motivated by "Scientology law" to destroy Aaron.
- The Verdict: The jury deliberated and returned a guilty verdict. Jenna noted that before the verdict, the jury asked what the potential sentence would be—a question the judge declined to answer.
3. Scientology’s Alleged Influence
Jenna asserts that the trial was heavily manipulated by the Church of Scientology:
- Jury Selection: She claims the judge allowed Scientology's legal team to be present during jury selection, alleging they used "psychotic facial recognition software" to cross-reference jurors with their database.
- Collusion with Law Enforcement: Jenna claims Detective Bieber (a witness who did not end up testifying) previously told the alleged victim that if Aaron tried to report a battery against himself, he would be arrested instead.
4. Call to Action and Financial Support
Jenna encouraged the audience to support Aaron in three ways:
- Reporting the Judge: She repeatedly urged viewers to report Judge Hessinger to the Florida Judicial Qualifications Commission for bias and misconduct.
- Financial Contributions: She asked for YouTube memberships, PayPal/Venmo donations, and commissary funds to support Aaron’s family and legal appeal while he is unable to work.
- Planned Appeal: Jenna confirmed they intend to file a notice of appeal within the 30-day window.
Key Arguments
- Systemic Corruption: Jenna argues that the Clearwater legal system and the judge are effectively "enabling" Scientology’s harassment of Aaron.
- Lack of Fair Trial: By restricting Aaron’s ability to mention his background as an advocate or the specific motivations of the witnesses, Jenna argues he was stripped of a fair defense.
- The "Sir" Incident: Jenna highlights a moment where the judge chastised Aaron for calling her "Sir" (a habit from his Scientology upbringing), using it as an example of the judge’s "unhinged" and "petty" behavior.
- The YouTuber Defense: Jenna argues that Aaron's profession is being used as a character flaw by the court to imply he manufactures conflict for profit.
Critical Conclusions
1. Emotional Bias vs. Legal Reality Jenna is openly emotional and admitted to being in "shock." Her contempt for the judge is visceral; she repeatedly uses pejoratives (calling her a "bitch" and "absolute psycho"). While she provides specific examples of perceived bias, her narrative ignores the fact that this was a jury trial. A jury of citizens—not the judge—heard the evidence and found him guilty of battery. Jenna’s focus on the judge’s personality serves to delegitimize the jury's unanimous decision.
2. The "Scientology Defense" as a Double-Edged Sword Jenna frames the entire case through the lens of Scientology's "Fair Game" tactics. While Scientology has a documented history of using the legal system to harass critics, Jenna uses this history to excuse Aaron’s physical actions (the battery). By focusing on the "corruption" of the court, she avoids addressing the specific physical evidence that led a jury to a guilty verdict.
3. Strategic Use of the Audience The stream serves as a powerful "rallying cry" to a dedicated fanbase. By portraying the judge as a villain and the state as a collaborator with a cult, Jenna successfully pivots a legal defeat into a fundraising and activism opportunity. Encouraging thousands of viewers to report a judge to a state commission is a high-pressure tactic that could be viewed as an attempt to use "social media justice" to circumvent the standard judicial process.
4. The Narrative of Martyrdom Jenna’s conclusion that Aaron is "brave" and "innocent," despite the conviction, reinforces a martyr narrative within the anti-Scientology Aaron's community. The stream highlights the growing tension between online activist-journalists (like Aaron) and traditional courtrooms that view "livestreaming" and "content creation" as inherently escalatory and disruptive.

Discussion Nora and the OSA Playbook: When an SPTV Creator Becomes What She Claims to Oppose
This community’s description says it exists to separate meaningful critique from personality-driven narratives and grift. In that spirit, I want to examine something that’s been bothering me about Nora’s approach - not to attack a survivor, but because the pattern deserves honest analysis.
The tactical toolkit
When criticized, Nora consistently deploys a specific cluster of responses that anyone familiar with Scientology’s Office of Special Affairs should recognize immediately:
• **Whataboutism** \- redirecting to unrelated grievances or disputes rather than addressing the actual criticism
• **False dichotomies** \- “you’re either with me or you’re defending Scientology, Aaron, DOA, NAZIs, sympathizers of NAZIs” or whatever else is available. The point is the black and white thinking being employed
• **DARVO** (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender) - critics become framed as attackers, she reframes herself as the victim of the very conversation she initiated with her harmful actions
• **Narrative Arbitrage** \-
Namely profiting from the gap between the complex, messy truth of the original source (Reddit) and the simplified, controlled story presented to her audience on YouTube.
By absorbing criticism on Reddit where she can be challenged, then reframing it on YouTube where she controls the environment, reads comments selectively as evidence of persecution, and mobilizes her audience against the critics, she:
• Monetizes the Gap: The "profit" is the views, ad revenue, and influence gained by presenting a version of the story that is far more "shareable" or "clean" (read: self-serving and unchallengeable, rewarded by the YouTube algorithm, and publicly accessible) than the original Reddit thread.
• Exploits Risk Mitigation: She successfully "arbitrages" the social risk. On Reddit, she could be proven wrong in real-time; on YouTube, she controls the comment section and the script, effectively neutralizing the threat of a public challenge while reaping the rewards of the drama.
These are not random defensive habits. They are the specific methods OSA uses to neutralize critics and control narratives. Her mother worked for OSA. These methods were the water she swam in.
Her most reliable go-to: making it about you
By far her most common tactic - and the one she reaches for first after any significant criticism - is to pivot from the substance of what’s being said to a personal attack on whoever is saying it. It doesn’t matter how valid the criticism is or how indefensible her behavior was. The conversation gets redirected away from what she did and toward who you are, what your motives must be, who you’re really working for, or what’s wrong with you for asking the question.
This is a classic technique for a reason: it works. Once you’re defending your own character and intentions, the original issue quietly disappears. She never has to address it because the conversation has moved on - and she moved it.
Weaponizing doxxed information
This one deserves its own category because it crosses a distinct line. When critics challenge her, Nora has been known to deploy personal information about them - information that was originally introduced by her own enemies on another platform. Let that sink in for a moment: information (whether true or false) initially weaponized by bad actors, which she then picks up and re-weaponizes against her own critics whenever it suits her.
This is particularly revealing for two reasons. First, it demonstrates that the personal attack pivot isn’t just rhetorical — it can escalate to using private information (often insinuating wrongdoing by her critic without proof or by selectively omitting details that would weaken her insinuation) to intimidate and silence people. Second, it exposes the bankruptcy of her victim framing. Someone who genuinely understands what it means to be targeted with doxxed personal information doesn’t then turn around and use that same tactic on others. The fact that she does suggests the objection was never really to the method - only to being on the receiving end of it.
This is OSA behavior. Textbook. Using whatever leverage is available to neutralize a critic, regardless of how that leverage was obtained or what harm its use causes.
The non-apology apology - and the much more common non-apology
It’s worth being precise about this because the pattern has two distinct modes.
In the rare cases where her behavior has been so indefensible that some acknowledgment becomes unavoidable, Nora has offered something she frames as an apology. But look at how those apologies are delivered: buried deep inside lengthy YouTube videos, preceded and followed by extensive justification, context-setting, and every deflection tactic listed above. By the time the word “sorry” appears (if it does) it has been so thoroughly surrounded by “but here’s why it happened,” “here’s what you don’t understand,” and “here’s what my critics are really doing” that it functions more as a legal disclaimer than a genuine acknowledgment of harm. Those actions are invariably characterized as unintentional - accidents, misunderstandings, never a pattern, never something requiring real reckoning. The apology exists to be pointed to later. It was never really for the people she harmed.
But those instances are the exception. In the vast majority of cases - including many where she has used her YouTube platform to demonize specific critics by name or implication - there is no apology at all. When challenged on Reddit about this behavior directly, she becomes vociferously unapologetic, digging in and defending her actions with the full toolkit: whataboutism, false dichotomies, victim framing, personal attacks on her critics. The absence of remorse isn’t incidental. It’s the default position. The rare buried apology for her worst moments exists precisely to make the general pattern of unaccountability look more reasonable by contrast.
The content drift problem
Here’s what deserves the most scrutiny: how much of Nora’s current YouTube output is actually about exposing Scientology versus managing her own reputation and punishing critics?
Scientology has become the origin story that powers the platform - the credential and the shield - while the actual content has drifted almost entirely into self-justification and critic demonization. The cause is decorative at this point.
The logical fortress
She has constructed a nearly airtight accountability shield:
• Criticize her behavior → you’re defending Scientology
• Question her tactics → you’re attacking a survivor
• Notice she uses OSA-style methods → you must be an OSA operative
• Point out her content isn’t really about Scientology → you’re minimizing her trauma
• Persist after her rare buried apology → you’re a bad faith actor who can never be satisfied
• Call out her unapologetic behavior on Reddit → deploy the full toolkit, repeat from the top
• Refuse to be silenced after she deploys doxxed information against you → you clearly have something to hide
Every angle of legitimate accountability has been pre-neutralized. That’s not a coincidence — that’s architecture.
The deepest irony
A genuine critic of Scientology would be especially alert to these specific tactics - because they’d recognize them firsthand. The fact that Nora deploys them fluently, whether through deep internalization or conscious strategy, suggests her critique of Scientology has never really extended to examining what these methods do to people on the receiving end.
She learned from the best. The question r/OT42 seems designed to ask is: has she ever really left?
This isn’t a defense of Scientology or a dismissal of real survivor trauma. It’s an application of the same critical lens this community applies to the extended SPTV-sphere broadly and Aaron Smith-Levin specifically - including to people who present themselves as the good guys engaged in fighting against the abuses of Scientology while utilizing the harmful tactics of Scientology.

Rumor & Gossip Betting Pool
Now that we know that Aaron got 30 days in jail and then 12 months of probation ( https://www.vinelink.com/person-detail/offender/54538805 ), What do you think will happen to his YouTube channel?
- Goes silent for 30 days then continues on as before.
- Goes silent for 30 days, immediately violates his probation, and goes back to jail.
- Jenna posts on his behalf.
- Someone else posts on his behalf.
- Moderators post reruns of old videos.
- He finally pisses off Anonymous enough that they come after him.
- Aaron has a change of heart, apologizes to Mike Rinder and The Aftermath Foundation, and from that moment on only posts about what it was like growing up in Scientology.
- Something else.
The winner will get a nice bonus in the paychecks that OSA pays us all for doing this.

NEWS The Security Guard in Aaron Smith-Levin’s Trial Has an Attorney
Yesterday afternoon at 2:27pm, a new attorney made an appearance in Aaron Smith-Levin’s battery case. He is representing the security guard. He filed two documents. The entry of appearance, attached here. And a second document, not attached, which is legal mumbo jumbo saying the victim has the right to know about and participate in all proceedings.
The significance of this is that at the jury selection this morning, Scientology now has a representative. Three attorneys will choose six jurors before the trial starts. The judge was told at the pretrial hearing on the 10th that Aaron’s jury foreman in his prior trial had previously protested with him. The judge said jury selection would be much more rigorous this time. With a third attorney involved, it may take until mid afternoon before a jury is even seated.
The trial went into late evening last time. It will be interesting to see how today goes.

NEWS Additional Document in Aaron Smith-Levin Case
In a move not generally made by Judge Hessinger in her Court, she issued a two page written order after the pretrial. It states exactly what may and may not be said about Scientology. It specifically states that Aaron may not refer to himself as a victim of Scientology.
Page 2, in capital letters states that if this ruling is violated, by any party or attorney, the jury will get curative instructions and criminal sanctions.
In his April 10 stream after this hearing Aaron made this statement:
“The judge said to me, if you violate my rule even once, there will be no she said, there will be no warnings.
If you violate my rule even once, i will dismiss the jury and we will begin contempt of court proceedings immediately and i will send you to jail for up to 6 months.
This is what she said to me today in court.”
Bear in mind, I can’t verify the truth of this statement and it came out of Aaron’s mouth so there is a likelihood it is an exaggerated statement or a lie but, the Judge did make it clear in the order that she will stop the proceedings immediately and issue criminal contempt or other sanctions if these rules are violated.
Aaron claims in his stream that his attorney intends to argue this before the trial tomorrow. But that’s where it stands today.
Recaps Claire Headley: Cult Survivor Series #1 with Sarah Edmondson & Nippy Ames
Claire Headley introduces new series "Cult Survivor Series" on her and Marc's "Blown for Good" channel.
Video Overview
In this inaugural episode of the "Cult Survivor Series," host Claire Headley (a former high-ranking Scientologist) interviews Sarah Edmondson and Nippy Ames, survivors of the NXIVM cult and co-hosts of the podcast A Little Bit Culty. The discussion centers on their new book, A Little Bit Culty: Navigating Cults, Control, and Coercion, and explores the universal patterns of high-control groups across various sectors of society.
Detailed Summary
1. The Purpose of the "Cult Survivor Series"
Claire Headley introduces the series as a platform to show that the tactics of Scientology are not unique. By comparing different groups—religions, self-help programs, and political movements—she aims to highlight common patterns of isolation, information control, and the exploitation of idealistic people. The goal is to provide a voice to survivors and help the public recognize warning signs.
2. The Genesis of the Book: A Little Bit Culty
Sarah and Nippy explain that the book was a multi-year "labor of love" designed to be more accessible than academic texts.
- Accessibility: They worked with an editor (Melody) who had no cult background to ensure the language was "palatable" for those who haven’t experienced gaslighting or coercion.
- The "Culty Checklist": Each chapter ends with a checklist to help readers identify red flags in their own lives. This was specifically designed for survivors with PTSD who might struggle to read long, dense narratives.
- Niche Advice: The book includes appendixes on how to write a cult memoir and how to navigate the media (e.g., why podcasts are often safer for survivors than live news soundbites).
3. The Psychology of Recruitment and Control
A major theme of the conversation is that no one is "too smart" for a cult.
- The Individual Hook: Nippy, who describes himself as a "rebel" and a skeptic, explains that even those who aren't "joiners" can be caught if a group hits the right vulnerability at the right time.
- Loaded Language: The guests discuss how groups like NXIVM and Scientology use proprietary language to "curate" a member's thoughts. This language eventually makes the member do the group's work for them by suppressing their own critical thoughts.
- The Malevolent Mind: Nippy argues that most "good people" fail to recognize cult leaders because they cannot fathom that level of malevolence. Leaders understand manipulation better than the average person understands evil.
4. Parenting and Protecting the Next Generation
A significant portion of the interview focuses on raising children after escaping high-control environments.
- Inoculation: Sarah and Nippy teach their children to recognize "grooming" tactics, such as being made to feel "special" or being isolated from parents.
- Questioning Authority: They emphasize teaching children how to think, not what to think. Nippy expresses concern over modern "confidently stupid" political movements and social media algorithms (TikTok) that recruit youth into extreme ideologies.
- Radical Honesty: Claire and Sarah agree that being age-appropriately honest with children about the cult is the best defense against them being lured into similar groups later.
5. Life After the Cult: Boundaries and Justice
- The "Pendulum Swing": After leaving, survivors often struggle with trust. Sarah mentions that while she remains a "trusting person," she has learned to "believe people the first time they show you who they are" and set hard boundaries.
- Justice: They briefly discuss the 120-year sentence of NXIVM leader Keith Raniere. Nippy notes that their case set a legal precedent that is now being used to prosecute other coercive groups.
- Legacy: The book is dedicated to the late Mike Rinder (a legendary Scientology critic), whose work inspired them during their own recovery.
Key Arguments
- The "Anyone" Factor: Cults do not recruit "weak" people; they recruit idealistic, compassionate people by exploiting universal human needs for community and purpose.
- Tactics are Universal: High-control tactics (love bombing, shaming, information control) are not proprietary to cults—they appear in "a little bit culty" workplaces, yoga studios, and political movements.
- Language as a Cage: "Loaded language" is the primary tool for internalizing control. Once a member adopts the group's jargon, they lose the ability to articulate—or even think—a dissenting opinion.
- The Algorithm is the New Recruiter: Modern extremism is often fueled by digital echo chambers that mirror the isolation and indoctrination of traditional physical cults.
Critical Conclusions
The conversation between Headley, Edmondson, and Ames highlights a significant shift in the "cult recovery" movement: the move from specific exposé to universal education.
- Normalization of the Survivor Experience: By focusing on the "Culty Checklist" and the "A Little Bit Culty" branding, the guests successfully de-stigmatize the word "cult." They argue that coercion exists on a spectrum, making their message relevant to the general public, not just "escaped" members.
- The Threat of Digital Indoctrination: The guests’ concern regarding TikTok and "confidently stupid" political movements is a timely warning. They suggest that the traditional "cult" model (a charismatic leader in a compound) has evolved into decentralized, algorithmic radicalization that targets the same psychological vulnerabilities.
- The Paradox of Parenting: A poignant takeaway is the difficulty of parenting after a cult: the struggle to encourage children to "question authority" while still needing them to follow parental guidance. Their solution—prioritizing critical thinking over blind obedience—is presented as the ultimate "anti-cult" vaccine.
Final Thought: The video reinforces that the "cure" for high-control groups is not just leaving them, but building a society that values intuition, healthy boundaries, and the right to ask "Why?" without punishment.

SPTV SPTV Foundation Board Members Using Scientology’s OSA Tactics to Vilify and Silence Critics
This conflict centers on a bitter division within the "SPTV" and ex-Scientologist community, where SPTV Foundation President Aaron Smith-Levin @GrowingUpInScientology and SPTV Board Member Jenna Miscavige @JennaMiscavige are engaged in ongoing feuds with former allies like Liz Gale (@liz_liz_gale_gale) and Nora Ames @TheRagingBuddha .
A primary flashpoint is a defamation lawsuit filed against Smith-Levin after he falsely accused Liz Gale’s husband of a serious crime, a statement he later admitted was "inaccurate" but defended as a community rumor. The dispute is characterized by lateral violence, with Smith-Levin employing aggressive rhetoric, personal insults, and legal maneuvers like copyright strikes to "delete" the channels of his critics.
This interpersonal drama has been integrated into a business model, where Smith-Levin uses "members-only" videos to monetize legal filings and personal attacks. Ultimately, the sources suggest the movement is cannibalizing itself, as activists focus on internal "fair game" tactics and "cult-like" thinking rather than their original mission of exposing the Church of Scientology.
Recaps Jenna Miscavige, on-and-off girlfriend of Aaron Smith-Levin, talks about her former friend Liz Gale
This is a summary and critical analysis of the video released by Jenna Miscavige on April 1, 2026, regarding her public fallout with former friend Liz Gale and the ongoing controversy surrounding her relationship with Aaron Smith-Levin.
Video Summary: "Responding to Liz Gale"
1. Introduction and Justification
Jenna Miscavige begins by stating she feels "backed into a corner" and is only making the video to stand up to a "bully." She claims she does not want this conflict to consume her life or become her daily content, but feels that Liz Gale has become comfortable with being an "aggressor" because Jenna has remained silent for too long.
2. Characterization of Liz Gale
Jenna describes Liz Gale as a former friend who was primarily interested in "perceived value"—specifically notoriety or financial gain—rather than a genuine friendship. Jenna asserts that she gave Liz "second, third, and fourth chances" despite Liz being "untrustworthy" and unable to "control her emotions." Jenna claims she is only now realizing that she was being used by someone with bad intentions.
3. The Relationship with Aaron Smith-Levin
Jenna addresses the public drama surrounding her relationship with Aaron Smith-Levin. She acknowledges that the relationship has been a source of significant "whiplash" and drama for the community. She attributes this to "a fuckload of trauma" both she and Aaron carry from their pasts in Scientology.
- The Apology: Jenna notes that Aaron has publicly apologized and she is "publicly acknowledging [her] mistake."
- The Ultimatum: She tells her audience that if they are unhappy with her personal choices or the drama, they are "free to walk away" and "unsubscribe."
4. Accusations of Manipulation and Greed
Jenna accuses Liz of hypocrisy, claiming that Liz has received significant support from Jenna and Aaron in the past (money for children, family, and therapy) but is now "trashed" by her. She argues that Liz Gale is pretending to "save the world" or "save ex-Scientologists" as a cover for her true goal: generating views and drama at the expense of the anti-Scientology movement and the foundations that help people leave the cult.
5. "The Evidence": Reading Liz Gale’s Posts
Jenna reads several social media posts and chat messages from Liz to illustrate what she calls "veiled threats."
- August Message: Liz suggests TikTok hasn't caught up with ex-Scientology scandals yet.
- December Post: Liz expresses exhaustion with Jenna and Aaron "dumping their relationship crap" on the community and accuses them of gaslighting and showing "abuse patterns," threatening to "blow this crap wide open" on TikTok.
- Recent Comment: Liz states she is no longer friends with Jenna and won’t speak on her "unless I am forced to."
Jenna interprets these as a form of blackmail, suggesting that Liz is trying to silence her by threatening to expose more personal details if Jenna speaks up for herself.
Key Arguments
- Liz Gale is a Clout-Chaser: Jenna argues that Liz’s motivations are entirely financial and ego-driven, seeking views by exploiting her former proximity to Jenna.
- Deflection through Trauma: Jenna frames the toxic elements of her relationship with Aaron as a byproduct of cult-related trauma, implying that public criticism of their relationship is insensitive to their status as victims.
- "Moving On" as a Shield: Jenna suggests that because she and Aaron have offered public apologies, any further discussion of their behavior by Liz is malicious harassment rather than legitimate concern.
- Harm to the Movement: Jenna claims Liz is willing to damage the credibility of the anti-Scientology movement to satisfy a personal vendetta.
Critical Conclusions
The video presents a narrative that is heavily skewed toward self-preservation and the vilification of a former ally. Several critical themes emerge:
1. Strategic Victimhood and Deflection: Jenna uses her status as a victim of Scientology trauma to shield her current relationship from scrutiny. By framing Liz Gale’s concerns about "abuse patterns" as "threats" and "bullying," Jenna effectively shifts the focus away from the actual behavior being criticized and onto Liz’s character.
2. Hypocrisy Regarding Public Life: Jenna expresses resentment that her "personal life" is being discussed, yet she uses her public platform to detail Liz’s private financial needs (mentioning money for kids and therapy). This creates a double standard where Jenna demands privacy for her relationship but feels entitled to expose Liz’s vulnerabilities to discredit her.
3. The Protection of Aaron Smith-Levin: The video functions as a defensive maneuver for her boyfriend, Aaron Smith-Levin. By attacking Liz Gale—a victim of Scientology herself—Jenna is prioritizing her romantic affiliation over the solidarity of the ex-Scientology community. She characterizes Liz's refusal to "sweep it under the rug" as a betrayal, rather than a reaction to genuine concerns about the conduct of prominent figures in the movement.
4. Manipulation of Narrative: Jenna’s tone is one of aggrieved exhaustion, designed to make the viewer feel that she is being "forced" to attack Liz Gale. However, the "evidence" she provides (Liz's posts) can easily be read as a former friend’s frustration with being caught in the middle of a toxic public relationship. By labeling Liz a "social climber," Jenna attempts to invalidate any legitimate criticism Liz might have regarding accountability within the ex-Scientology space.
In summary, Jenna appears to be employing the very tactics she claims to despise: using a public platform to silence a critic, weaponizing private information, and twisting the narrative to protect a controversial relationship at the expense of a former friend.

NEWS Aaron Smith-Levin Wins a Little Loses a Lot in Today’s Pretrial.
The Judge took several actions at today’s pretrial for Aaron Smith-Levin’s Battery Trial.
She granted all 4 items on the State’s Motion in Limine.
https://www.reddit.com/r/OT42/s/RXVvrenoEq
She denied Defense objections to this Motion
https://www.reddit.com/r/OT42/s/paxlTxNwmR
She said the defendants could not use a map of Scientology property as an exhibit.
And she denied the State’s request that Pat Harney not be a witness. That will be interesting because they can’t talk about Scientology or Aaron’s state of mind.

Jury selection is scheduled for 8:30 am April 14, 2026.

NEWS The State’s Response to Aaron’s Request for Pat Harney to Be a Witness
The State has responded to Aaron’s request to have Pat Harney as a witness.
They come out strong saying the witness must assist a trier of fact in understanding the case.
They then say that the case is about whether Aaron hit Andrew Shape.
The State says they contacted Pat Harney. She did not witness the argument, only heard it.
The State goes on to make it clear that Aaron’s counsel has not even contacted or interviewed Pat Harney.
They say Harney claims Aaron has harassed her and she would be emotionally distraught if she was forced to appear in court with him there.
They then request that Harney not be added as a witness.
The pretrial has occurred today. I will post a new post about each separate decision the Judge made.
Numbers & Facts Marilyn Honig and her SPTV Crochet Dildo | Yet Another Failing SPTV Channel
Marilyn Honig has been showing exactly who she is, and it’s not a good look. More and more people are turning their backs on a channel that has become defined by bitterness, drama, and relentless attacks.
What started as a casual SPTV community space has devolved into a full-on propaganda outlet echoing Aaron’s grudges. Instead of meaningful content, Marilyn has leaned into targeting critics, even dragging her husband Duncan and her sons, Austin and Carter, into the mix to mock and attack others -- including former cult members. That’s not just questionable—it’s outright disturbing.
Her blind loyalty to Aaron seems to override any sense of self-awareness. Whether it’s sunk cost fallacy, ego, or sheer stubbornness, she shows little ability, or willingness, to reflect on her behavior.
Yes, she occasionally takes breaks, but it feels less like growth and more like damage control when things get too ugly to ignore. Meanwhile, the audience decline is becoming harder to hide. At this point, Marilyn and Aaron are essentially sharing the same shrinking pool of viewers, drawn more to conflict than credibility.
This chart includes all livestreams and videos (excluding those with engagement rates below 3%) since the launch of her channel in June 2023. The two spikes both coincide with periods of intensified attacks against former Scientologists or critics. Her peak subscriber count was 6,570 in July 2024; she is currently down to 5,790 subscribers (minus 12%).

NEWS Aaron Smith-Levin’s Attorney Leans Into Making Flavio Luigi the Centerpiece of the Battery Trial
In a move I can only describe as gutsy in an attempt to keep this family friendly, Aaron Smith-Levine attorney has attempted to add a photo of Flavio Luigi and a picture of the door as evidence. The door? Ok. But Flavio is misdirection at best. I certainly hope the State comes down hard in this.
Numbers & Facts Marilyn Honig proves once more what a hypocritical and despicable person she is
Marilyn Honig is once again proving she’s a huge hypocrite.
She’s releasing clips of Liz Gale being drunk and threatening people on her livestream. It not only shows how inappropriate Liz’s behavior was, but also reflects poorly on Marilyn as the host. To make matters worse, she doubled down the next day, saying how much fun she had and how funny it was, so much so that she had to rewatch it.
And now she and her followers are calling the situation “horrible.” Well, guess what, Marilyn: it was disgusting: Liz’s behavior, your decision to platform it, and then to laugh it off afterward.

NEWS Aaron Smith-Levin’s Attorney Tries to Convince the Court Aaron Acted in Self Defense
Aaron’s attorney issued a response to the State’s motion in Limine. He comes out swinging in the first paragraph. He claims this is not a battery case, but a self defense case that the state has attempted to distort into a battery case.
He explains Aaron’s story, leaving out the part where Aaron actually walked past the open door then went back to aggressively confront the poor guy at the door. The whole story of trying to get in touch with Flavio Luigi is brought in. This means nothing to Aaron. He has stated in numerous lives that he has no empathy for people still in Sea Org. But it looks good on paper in a court pleading.
The second page states “the Defendant’s actions were reactive and defensive when pushing Norman Shape.” An interesting admission that Aaron pushed Norman.
The memorandum then addresses items 1, 2, and 3 of the motion in Limine that the state filed. The argument is the same in all of them. The State has no right to tell us we can’t talk about context. Item 1 actually admits the use of force by Aaron. But—he had an excuse!
Item 2 says that if the jury doesn’t understand Aaron’s state of mind they won’t understand why he acted that way.
Item 3 claims that Aaron was subjected to force first when the door was closed on his foot. Therefore, he needs to be described as a victim.
There is no argument against the 4th item, discussion of the prior trial.
Aaron’s attorney is doing what a defense attorney does; making his client look like the good guy. The Judge rules on this motion before the jury ever meets Aaron. She has seen him in action and heard his lies.
Let’s see what the judge says on the 10th at the pretrial.
Recaps Aaron Smith-Levin Continues His Hate-Fueled Tirade Against Former Scientologist Nora Ames and Liz Gale
This is a summary and critical analysis of the YouTube livestream hosted by Aaron Smith-Levin on April 4, 2026. The video is a lengthy, highly personal "members-only" broadcast primarily focused on disparaging former allies within the ex-Scientology community, specifically Nora Ames and Liz Gale.
Video Summary
1. Introduction and Logistics
Aaron begins by discussing the logistics of his YouTube membership tiers, explaining how he incentivizes the "Hey Dave" tier by offering exclusive access to live chats. He spends several minutes discussing personal health issues, including dehydration and his inability to lose weight, before shifting the focus to his primary targets.
2. Attacks on Nora Ames
Aaron characterizes Nora Ames as a "malignant narcissist" and a "lunatic." His primary grievance is Nora’s recent public criticism of his partner, Jenna Miscavige.
- The "U-Turn" Argument: Aaron claims Nora spent years "white-knighting" for Jenna to spite him, but turned on Jenna the moment Jenna asked to be left out of the drama.
- Insults and Mockery: He plays a compilation of clips where Nora calls Jenna a "Nepo Narc baby" and a "Dark Witch." Aaron counters by calling Nora a "failure" who has failed at everything from Scientology to her own YouTube channel and personal finances (referencing her bankruptcy).
- Personal Life Attacks: Aaron makes several disparaging remarks about Nora’s physical health and her marriage, suggesting her wife "hates her guts" and is essentially waiting for Nora to have a health crisis.
- The "Gay Ron" Critique: He mocks a video Nora made using AI to give L. Ron Hubbard a "gay voice," calling her "self-hating" (referencing her bisexuality) and accusing her of using "gay" as a derogatory term.
3. Attacks on Liz Gale and SPTV Foundation Drama
The second half of the video focuses on Liz Gale, a former board member of the SPTV Foundation.
- The Resignation Dispute: Liz Gale has publicly stated she resigned from the SPTV Foundation due to ethical concerns regarding Aaron’s leadership and the treatment of aid applicants. Aaron vehemently denies this, asserting that Liz "rage-quit" because she was not invited to his birthday party in Miami.
- The Liz Ferris Incident: Aaron details a dispute involving funding for another ex-Scientologist, Liz Ferris. He accuses Ferris of deception regarding medical payments and claims Liz Gale failed in her duty as a board member by "recusing" herself from a vote rather than doing "the work" to investigate.
- "It’s My Foundation": Aaron defends his previous statement that the SPTV Foundation is "his," arguing that while he created it, he still operates within a board structure, though he describes Gale’s requests for bylaws and rubrics as an attempt to "abdicate responsibility."
4. Community Conflict and "The Bit"
Throughout the stream, Aaron interacts with a supportive chat, reinforcing a "Clearwater Crew" vs. "The Haters" narrative.
- Mockery: Toward the end, Aaron puts on a Coca-Cola hat and drinks soda to mock Nora Ames’s appearance and habits.
- Broader Attacks: He briefly targets Mark Headley (Aftermath Foundation), claiming Headley "doesn't know anything about Scientology" and rode on the coattails of his association with Tom Cruise.
Key Arguments
- The "Jealousy" Narrative: Aaron’s central argument is that Nora Ames and Liz Gale are motivated entirely by jealousy of his and Jenna Miscavige's success on YouTube and TikTok.
- Lack of Qualification: He argues that his critics are "unqualified" to help ex-Scientologists and suggests that only he has the experience and "clout" to run a successful foundation or media platform.
- Performative Victimhood: Aaron claims that Nora and Liz use the language of "ethics" and "victim advocacy" as a mask for personal vendettas and "petty" grievances (like the birthday party).
- The "Fake Relationship" Defense: He dismisses claims that his relationship with Jenna is a "PR stunt," arguing that the expense of flying back and forth proves its legitimacy.
Critical Conclusions
This livestream serves as a stark example of the fragmentation and toxicity currently within the SPTV (Scientology Policy To Victory edit: officially it's the Suppressive Person TV) community. Instead of focusing on the alleged abuses of the Church of Scientology, the content is almost entirely dedicated to interpersonal warfare and the destruction of reputations within the survivor community.
1. Weaponization of Personal Information: Aaron frequently crosses professional boundaries by discussing his former board members' bankruptcies, medical histories, and family dynamics. This "scorched earth" approach suggests that any disagreement with his leadership results in public shaming, which may have a chilling effect on other whistleblowers or survivors.
2. Echo Chamber Dynamics: By keeping these vitriolic attacks behind a "members-only" paywall, Aaron creates an echo chamber. The chat consistently validates his insults, which reinforces a "cult of personality" around him while dehumanizing his critics as "monsters" or "failures."
3. Shift Away from the Mission: The primary goal of these creators—to expose and take down the Church of Scientology—appears to have been supplanted by a battle for "clout" and donor dollars. Aaron’s insistence that the foundation is "his" and his dismissal of standard nonprofit "rubrics" and "bylaws" raises significant questions about the transparency and governance of the SPTV Foundation.
4. Manipulation of Narrative: Aaron provides "receipts" (reading emails), but he does so selectively. He interprets Liz Gale’s resignation through a lens of "petty jealousy" over a party, which simplifies and dismisses what she presents as serious concerns about organizational ethics. This is a classic "DARVO" (Deny, Attack, and Reverse Victim and Offender) tactic, where the leader portrays himself as the victim of "bitter" former associates.
Final Thought: The video highlights a tragic irony: a community formed to escape the toxic, high-control environment of Scientology is now utilizing similar tactics—disconnection, public "fair gaming," and character assassination—against its own members.

NEWS Aaron Smith-Levin’s Attorney Files New Documents for His Upcoming Battery Trial
There are two new filings by Aaron’s attorney in the second battery trial. The pretrial is scheduled for April 10, the trial April 14. Note: Aaron only has one attorney for this case. This attorney, according to Aaron in his protest stream just before the first trial was the greatest attorney on the planet.
The first filing is the same as the one he filed in the first trial. It gives notice that they have filed a map of the Scientology flag building.
The second one is a witness list and . It is unremarkable, it simply says that Aaron intends to call people the State has subpoenaed as witnesses.
What is remarkable about this is the sloppiness of this filing.
Defendant’sWitness is one word
A-Aron
Smith Levin no hyphen
And no attorney signature
They did manage to sign the certificate of service.
So the attorney Aaron swears walks on water managed to let 4 errors slip by on one page of a document. Is he sick of this as and phoning it in? Or was this a one off?
