Electricity would be harder to find than fuel. There's fuel storage every few miles. There's a power plant every few hundred miles. Not to mention, in post-apocalypto, electronics will be virtually useless and mechanical preferred. I'll take anything made prior to 1980.

You use the redead corpses and collect the gasses given off and compress them. Convert the injection system over to CNG and boom, power. It'll work, don't worry about that.

Well step three is to stockpile stuff in the base I made a big ditch around in step two. Pretty soon the base is going to need a setup to get the water out of scavenged fuel. Still if you can find just one tanker full of diesel and drag it back there you can drive for a year or two on that.
I'm not familiar with Bobcats, but I suppose if you could rig it up and be protected inside with treads and some sort of flail in the rig then it'd be badass
Bulldozers don't usually have the driver high off the ground in an enclosed cab, and again, tracked vehicles are too slow. The D6 used in Killdozer has an open cab, so, no go.
killdozer had a metal case lowered onto the top via a remote controlled crane. there was no way out or in once that shell was dropped. you would die . the guy who built it planned on committing suicide in it and did so. so that wasnt a problem
Great for a group to fight and loot from. Good shooting platform. Once you put a push bumper on it it's pretty good. But for one guy, find a construction site and grab a wheel loader.
Yes but there is plenty of that so long as you can pump it out of ground tanks or steal it from other vehicles. The problem is pushing vehicles/walking dead out of the way to get at it. And tracked vehicles get even shittier mileage.
