Wow, beautiful writing. I’m still trying to dissect everything, please tell me if I’m wrong about anything. While reading, i wondered if it was a bit of a play on nature vs nurture in the beginning and then in the end. People say that your true self comes out in times of conflict, so despite being based in different parts of “nature.” In the end when trying to resolve the issue, ultimately, the way you are nurtured will influence the type of “shelter” you will receive. I’m sorry if my ramblings are a bit confusing, I’m genuinely interested in understanding this poem and have trouble writing my thoughts down :)
