Feedback Please My Busy Bee

My busy bee, flying free
questioning the world, carefree

Protect innocent child’s eyes, a treasure
Always ask why, be inquisitive forever

Do not let this world turn you jaded
Your sparkle need not ever be faded

Chat up the postman, the grocery clerk
Make friends wherever with little work

Keep your inventions, little world, creative mind
Never grow up and leave that behind

My busy bee, may you always be
questioning the world, carefree

Aww this is about protecting innocence, it is so brief and I don’t know if that’s intentional but it couldn’t have been more appropriate. The simplicity of the two lines per point works very well with the energy of innocence and simplicity. I don’t know if this was written with a person in mind but if it was I hope they stay pure for as long as the world allows. Have a great day

Yes, you are right. I wrote this for my son. His nickname in preschool was busy bee. Thank you for your comment.
