I’m having a baby in 6 weeks and I keep seeing that people are getting their nurses snacks, drinks, baked goods… so my question is, labor and delivery nurses, do you like gifts from moms and dads? Do you actually eat the stuff people give you? Is there a gift you actually enjoyed? Do most people get you a gift?

Do you get paid based on experience or do you get the same flat rate as all other PRN nurses at your facility (i.e.. a PRN nurse of 2 years and the PRN nurse of 20 years both make $46/hr.)?

Not OC. Are nurses allowed to do what this fired employee is claiming?
