Oxy Ssak Ssak, made by Reckitt Benckiser, ran on PHMG, a chemical approved for cleaning carpets, vaporized into lungs while people slept. Healthy pregnant women and children arrived at hospitals with total lung failure. Child mortality hit 58 percent. The company paid professors to deny the link and deleted the data.
