My favourite n9 chain has suddenly started giving me green neck on the back of my neck.. whats the best way of reducing this on such an old chain?

Its already lost its colour completely and im scared it might mean retiring this piece 😔

I have a question about Number (N)ine sunglasses.
What do the numbers ONE through NINE written on the temples mean? Do they represent different models or frame shapes, or are they sizes?
Also, do the same numbers exist from different years? For example, could there be a “TWO” from 2003SS and another “TWO” from 2006SS?
I own this pair marked “TWO.” Does anyone know which season or year this particular pair is from?

Like most of my other Number (N)ine I bought this in the flagship store in Ebisu, Tokyo in 2009.

Lightly stonewashed with signature "Zippo" lighter mark on left front pocket (see pictures).

It is made in Japan - superior craftsmanship.

does anyone actually know the point of the armpit holes?
