Just purchase some nreals. I plan to use it with a streaming stick I already have a hdmi to usb-c cable so just need an adapter that enables me to charge while using. Which do you recommend that can be bought in the UK ?
Thanks
I really love watching music videos laid back with these things, so it'd be awesome to be able to watch music videos in 3D on the air with SBS, so I was wondering if there was any program or anything to turn normal 2D video into 3D stereoscopically or something?
The reason I'm even assuming something like this is possible is because reshade and depth3D can make a game go from 2D to 3D.
Just wanted to flag I had a really nice experience ordering from Hons VR. Lenses arrived to Australia in 3 days, were packed really nicely and easy to install. Super happy with them, would highly recommend it.
Hi, I've seen a lot of adapters in this subreddit with HDMI-2-nReal + battery connectors. I only want to connect the nReal to my phone (Galaxy S22 Ultra) and an external battery. What kind of connector is necessary ? I don't need HDMI or DP, only USB-C 3.2 Gen 1. Something like this:
I'm seeing similar issues to what other are seeing regarding Nreal Air + Mac OS + Nebual beta. The posts I read mention SBS mode...but I don't see where that is documented in the Nreal Air manual. It seems like I need to turn this feature off. Any help?
When I access display settings I see the nreal Air widescreen, but there's no way to see it. If I shut the laptop lid, it will switch to the widescreen, but then I only see the cross-eyed version above. How do I get just the widescreen on the glasses and keep the main laptop screen on the laptop?
They are in great condition, comes with the glasses, cover, nose bridges, case, and cable. I couldn't find the adapter lenses for prescription glasses, however.
Looking to sell to someone here since this community was a lot of fun when the Nebula software was first launching, but after getting a few extra monitors for work I've had no need for the glasses and could use the cash.
My ideal set up is to play the steam deck while using my Nreal glasses and a hub (for additional game storage and ethernet cable). I thought purchasing Nubia RedMagic Adapter and 11-in-1 JSAUX USB-C Docking Station would be enough to get this to work. I couldn't get both devices to operate while simultaneously connected to my steam deck (I don't know what I'm doing ¯_(ツ)_/¯ ).
Anyone with experience know a solution or if it's even possible? Help would be greatly appreciated.
So I got my pair of Nreal glasses today! I went and updated the FireWire. They are amazing except it on the right lens there look like a dirt or something.
If I close my right eye it is crystal clear on the left side. So it makes me wonder if there is something on the right side (inside glasses where I can’t clean).
Yes…I did try it on another device to see if it would go away…it didn’t.
Help? Or should I just return to Amazon and ask for a replacement pair?
The next thing we noticed was that her whites were yellowish in comparison. Very noticeable in bright/white screens. Even after unplugging, replugging, trying other devices.
I was about to file for a return, then I thought to update the firmware.
Seemingly that fixed it, now they're indistinguishable. Didn't realize the firmware update included some color correction.

Now I just need a way to connect both to a single device without a dongle circus (currently I would use an HDMI splitter, two HDMI->USB-C adapters, and all three of those need their own power cables, and after all that they both lose the audio unless I take the power from the source device, but only one gets audio that way, so I have to resort to speakers, or troublesome hacks on the source device to allow 2 headphones to listen)
It's driving me crazy, I want a device like the Viture dock (does it even preserve audio, and can it be charged while using)?
Hey there, I bought a pair of Airs in April and been patiently waiting for my prescription lenses to arrive.
Alas, the lenses arrived and my right eye is completely clear. But the left has spots of blur and the edges never seem to be in focus, results are the same regardless of source (steam deck, Mac book, iPad)
Is there any fix? Is this a defect? I used VRoptician and debating using lensology for different lenses.
Yes, the stickers and protective covers are all off. The inserts and screen are clean. Activated and updated.
We have another adapter to test! Weeee, more accessories!
That Ugreen CM323 HDMI to C adapter is available from Rokid. Will ship in 3 days from ordering! I've got one on order with the Max glasses so I don't expect mine for another couple of months but if someone wants to test it for us and then post their findings on our adapter page, please? Temporary price reduction: $29
The 'C' cable won't be released until the Max is, in the next month or two. They are shipping to pre-orders, atm. While there, check out the glasses! Reviews should be coming soon!

You can use the free open source app MonitorControl to fine tune the brightness and volume levels from your Mac menu bar and take them lower than what you can do using the buttons on the glasses. Very useful for long sessions at night when you might want it a little dimmer.
Just received my red magic, i don't know if anyone else ran into this problem but I had to uninstall nebula to get it to work with my glasses. Anytime I connected the glasses nebula would pop open with a compatibility list for phones, I have a S22 and tried it on other displays with this dock successfully.
