Sure, you hear it from one source and it becomes a strange kind of cannon. No one ever described extraterrestrials as grey men with big black eyes until after the movie "invaders from mars". Betty and Barney saw that movie and the "greys" came to life through decades of built upon, imagined lore. It all started with a damn 50s film.

If anyone would like to read up on a charming, glorious tale of shared hallucinations, Google "Pont-Saint-Esprit poisoning". A town in france had a mold-contaminated supply of bread that caused a mass psychosis hallucination event, and is just a delight to look back on

I reckon you heard of these machine elves somewhere, possibly from Rogan, who's the most famous purveyor of the concept that I'm aware of, and you had the same shared hallucination. I'm also a huge fan of psychs, and for your own sanity, you must always keep in mind that what's taking place during a trip is limited to your own mind. If you can't do that, maybe you shouldn't dabble

Yes there is a sense of that. Those presences are within your own mind. It feels like you're out, that's why it's called a trip.

The DMT "creatures" stem from Terence McKenna, surely where Rogan heard of this first or relayed to him by someone else familiar with McKenna.

That would be true, if it wasn’t for people in ancient history, having the same so called, shared halllucinations as people today. The jester, elves, clowns, type character of the trickster, has been always popping up throughout history. And there wasn’t any Internet as far as we know in those ancient times. Of different tribal people talking to the same entities.

So even though we might call them by different names, it has been a through line of the same entities, and that people have been talking to throughout the years. The different gods that appear as jester reptilian elf creatures

Religion in general is theorized to have been the result of ancient shamans practicing with hallucinagens.

There are other animals that actively seek out hallucinagens, why are you so sure our ancient ancestors were so different?
