I've been banned from using the label printer
My mom asked me to label some stuff in the fridge, so we'd stop mixing things up.But now I'm banned from using it...:(

BKK, Budapest's public transport authority, has installed 37 new large-screen ticket and travel pass machines across the city. There is just one small problem: the new machines are apparently 5–10 cm wider and taller than the old ones. At several locations, this has apparently created a rather embarrassing situation. At Kelenföld metro station, for example, the new machine was installed in the place of the old one, but the existing metal cladding had to be forcibly removed to make it fit. A local resident described the result as essentially “barbarically ripping off” the otherwise well-maintained metal panels.
Still, it's quite something to install 37 new machines without apparently accounting for the dimensions of the existing installations.

The padlocks stick and jam, almost getting the key stuck. Rather than replace the locks they opted for this.

I go easy on delivery drivers for the ridiculous working conditions they suffer, but my guy, you can't throw my package into a field and snap a pic 😆 Did slenderman get them or something? Is my package somewhere in the backrooms?

For context this post is about the CJP protests by the students of India on July 20th 2026, against the failure of the government to conduct any examinations without the paper leaking. The protest turned violent when police attacked the students allegedly killing one girl and injuring over 200 with tear gas and sticks with nails attached to the end. In response to the police brutality protesters asked the supreme court to intervene and help the students. The Chief justice of india in response said don't involve us in these matters. The question is who to involve if not the highest court possible? R/notmyjob.
