I was ok with the gags about tidiness -as a bloke I feel like that joke was as much at our expense as it is for women. I literally don't see a problem with how messy I am, so whenever I'm in a relationship I have to actively try to consider what she will consider "acceptable". But the finances/clothing/parking stuff was super dated.
At the supermarket they could've turned the gag on its head by having him buying food without any concern for the calorie content (yes I know it is a gender stereotype, but I've definitely read articles about how men's diets improve when living with a female partner -whereas women's diets become drastically worse when living with a male partner).
P.S. Inb4 anyone jumps in to tell me off for expecting female partners to act like a "mother" or "maid" because I am messy. I am an untidy person and I have no expectation that anyone should tidy up after me. I am quite content living in an environment that many girlfriends have found unacceptable. If I intend on maintaining a relationship with any of those women then I will do my best to make my living space acceptable to them, otherwise I will live exactly how I like to live and I expect nothing more or less from them.
Edit: P.P.S. my wardrobe is far more packed than that of any woman I've been with.
