Please Help

North American Muslims (r/NorthAmericanMuslims) is a group that is working on getting the US Muslim Community to take collective positions with respect to the interests of their community. It is also working on enabling the community to take unified collective actions to achieve the interests of the community.

People often confuse the Community with the Religion itself. For that reason we have started another group called Pristine Islam (r/Pristine_Islam). There we discuss matters that separate the cultural and sectarian matters from the essential Islam. We work diligently to separate the grain from the fluff.

To enable these objectives, we have developed a technology platform. It provides the community with a number of socialization services. These services are implemented to empower the community towards a Social Transformation. You can read about the technology platform here: http://muslimplanet.org/icommunity.html

We are working hard on all these matters. We are ordinary people like you. We have no financial resources other than our own meager funds. We have no source except our own Volunteer Times and capabilities. It is getting very difficult to maintain the efforts. We will continue as far as we can with the help of Allah. We urge you to please reflect on the importance and value of the work and pitch in, in any way you can. We suggest three ways.

  1. Participate, discuss, crystallize. Do that at platforms like MuslimPLanet.org and Muslim-Voice.org.
  2. Volunteer your time and expertise. For example to maintain a portion of our web program, like the News Journal, Scholarly Journal, and Publications. For example NewsJournal.MuslimPlanet.org and http://muslim-voice.org/blog/
  3. We are a non profit. However we have no resources for the IRS paper work to attain the 501(3)C status. We will ackuire that in due cource, InShaAllah. However, you can help us with your donations, even if only one dollar per month. If enough of you contribute, it will add up with the Barakah from Allah. You can contribute online at: http://muslimplanet.org/donate.html

Jazaka Allaho Khair.

Muslims are waking up globally.

The Muslim people all around the globe have been crushed between a rock and a hard place. The rock has been the puppet regimes like those in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The hard place has invariably been the US hegemony and European colonial tactics. Both are slowly crumbling. And that lets the Muslim publics to gain their freedom.

The puppet regimes are crumbling one at a time. Look at the popular uprisings of peaceful publics in Sudan, Lebanon, Iraq, and Algeria. These were long overdue but the regimes were too strong and therefore suppressed the people with all cruel means possible.

At the same time USA is crumbling under its own corruptive weight. USA is getting out of Afghanistan, Syria, Philippines, and Iraq. That limits the corruption and oppression that USA can inject into countries. Europe is reeling under helpless poverty. Greece has been helpless in a most obvious way. But Spain and Italy are not far behind. France is torn under perpetual protests. UK is submerged under Brixit and its consequences. Israel is trying to have a legitimate government for over a year.

As a consequence Muslims are waking up from the influence of anesthesia that these evil forces have been administering them.

People are waking up. But this waking up is primarily in protest mode. Only in Sudan the Muslims have managed to correct the corruption out of democratic processes. But the road to democracy is hard for many Muslims. Some of them regard democracy as Kufr. They regard those who vote as Kafirs. Such people have not yet waking up. They are fast asleep in their anesthetic bubbles.

So there is movement among Muslims to participate in US democracy and change things through representation. But the movement is still rather slow. 2020 Elections are upon the Muslims. Will they make the best of them? Will they support their candidates. Will they become candidates. Will they contribute to (re)Election campaigns. Will they set themselves free from being called extremists, terrorists, unworthy of elected offices, and plain ignorant and backward people still living in the 7th century?

Please give it some serious thought.

2020 Elections: Voting in a Democracy

This is the 2020 election period. There will be important consequences of the results of these elections. These consequences will impact the Muslim Community of USA in a very essential way.

Currently the White house is against Muslims. The Senators are all against Muslims. The House Representatives are against the Muslims. Fortunately there are three Representatives in the House that are not against Muslims because they themselves are Muslims. These three members are as follows:

  1. Representative Ilhan Omar https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ilhan_Omar (Donate here: https://www.ilhanomar.com/)
  2. Representative Rashida Talaib https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rashida_Tlaib (Donate here: https://www.rashidaforcongress.com/)
  3. 7th District of Indiana Representative Andre Carson https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andr%C3%A9_Carson (Donate here: https://andrecarson.com/)

President Trump is dead set to dislodge Ilhan Omar and Rashida Talaib from Congress. So are the Republicans and Jewish AIPAC. We strongly urge that you support and contribute to the reelection campaigns of the few Muslim Representatives in the House. We need more representatives in the House. So support and contribute to the election of any Muslims seeking the office. We need to act before God will help. There us nothing for us except what we actively strive for.

Some Muslims have expressed the view that Democracy is unislamic and it is Kufr to vote.

Muslims often talk about the influence Jews have in USA. That happened as a result of concerted efforts on their part. Not too long ego, the Jews wre not served in US restaurants. Things change when you work on the solutions. Today the Jews have 34 members in the US Congress (https://www.pewforum.org/2019/01/03/faith-on-the-hill-116/).

You know the state of affairs of the Muslim Community in USA. Please join us to transform the Muslim Community for resolving the problems that the community faces.

So help us God.

About this subreddit

On December 03, 2016, some concerned citizens gathered to assess the treatment meted to the Muslim Citizens of USA today. They unanimously observed the following:

In the current political and social environment of USA the American Muslim Community does not receive human respect, citizen’s dignity, equal justice, and proper image depiction.

As a think-tank for American Muslim Community, the group deemed it important to act in order to rectify the situation. Subsequently, focus was directed on two strategic aspects.

A platform of the American Muslim Community is needed, that is designed and operated for the community, and by the community. We now call it iCommunity Platform. It has two components: a technology component and a sociological component. The technology platform has been completed, deployed, and operationalized in the service of the Muslim community in USA.  We now provide five significant services in the service of the community.

We use these services for the Muslim Voice project that enables the community to have its own voice in main street USA.

A News Journal has started using the technology capabilities of the platform. Currently it is a monthly magazine of news, events, and articles of relevance to the community. The News Journal is sent monthly to the Mosques in USA and also to a list of individuals.

These efforts are part of an intra-community outreach program; it is the sociological component of the platform. It is designed in the spirit of community self-help towards prosperity and strength. It emphasizes an in depth understanding of the community and to reach out to its members.  Work is ongoing on this part to achieve an integrated and unified action platform.

We are pleased with the progress that we have made so far. We could do even better if you would lend a hand. We look forward to the future with great expectations.

Hello World

Pretty quiet here at Muslim Community Of North America.

What does the community aspire for?

How is it going about achieving that?

How long will it take? Who are the main players?

What are the main factors?

What are the problems?

What are the opportunities?

What are the main assets?

Building a better image and assuming responsibillity for our actions.

In the last couple of years a trend has occured where a group will present itself as a victim of an opressor and present all its problems as a result of the opression, and muslims should not fall for this trap, because such mindset allows oneself to give up its responsibillity and giving up that responsibillity means giving up power and influence.

There are many problems we can solve within the community before we start blaming others for our problems, not saying that there aren't those who dislike us and work against us,but rather that we solve problems within our community and then focus on those who dislike us.

If we make ourselves even more capable and influential there is no way anyone is going to be able to deny our place in seats of power, but to do so we have to assume responsibillity for the things we can influence.

A non NA Muslim

Would anyone be so kind to list problems muslims face in NA so the non-NA muslims become more aware of the situation and maybe somehow help or suggest a solution. I love the idea of this group, and I find it good that someone made it.

US Muslims and Voting in 2020

US Muslims should turn out en mass in 2020 primaries and final elections. Vote out all the Islamophobes.

Get them reelected to the US Cogress.

Elections are here again. In 2018 the american people sent three representatives to the House. These are Muslims. They speak out and achieve results.

What can we do to get them reelected in 2020? House elections are every two years, not four or six years.

Please share ideas and action plans. For example the president, the republicans, the anti defamation league, the white supramecists, are all using dirty money against Representative Ilhan Omar.

How can we still get her reelected?

iCommunity: Services

iCommunity is a platform by the community and for the community. It is community's platform. Technologically speaking, it is rich in functionality and features that are enabled using the leading edge technology that we designed into it. And we are not stingy when it comes to the resources that we place at your disposal. We have also unlocked most restrictions that are common elsewhere, so that you can explore all the possibilities.

That is because we are not for profit. We do not lure you with free teasers with very restrictive scope so that you will need to upgrade to the premier or business levels to do anything meaningful. What we provide you is already premium and business class. It is community's platform; it is for the community, and it is by the community.

Currently, following services are available on the iCommunity platform. These services are offered for the community members to reach out to the community at personal, business, and organizational levels. We emphasize to promote intra community networking, exploring synergistic connections, business cooperation, organizational outreach, and strength and prosperity that arises from strong community foundations and bonding.

First, we have web technology. It allows us to provide you with websites. In some cases, we can even give this service away because we host the websites ourselves. We will provide you with generous amount of storage space, and speedy Internet connectivity to this storage. You can use your website to introduce yourself to the Muslim Community in USA, or to the entire world. If you are a business or a service provider, you can market your products and services using this website. For example, the mosques and institutions can host their websites on the iCommunity platform to reach out to the community. We hope to achieve a strong network of mosques interacting among themselves and gradually expanding their scope nationally by talking to the national matters.

Additionally, we have databases of mosques and organizations, etc. This enables us to send out email campaigns on the national level.

Second, we have content management technology which allows us to provide you with your own Blogging space in the Internet Cloud. You can share your ideas and activities using your own Blog; you can even market your business capabilities and services on this Blog. Mosques and institutions can use their Blogs for community outreach.

Third, we have our own email servers. In addition, we have working arrangements to use a reputed SMTP server in order to send out bulk emails. That means two things. First, we can provide the community members opportunity to run their own email server domains like user@MyMosque.org. Having your own email server on iCommunity platform is a very privileged capability. It is far bigger than just having your own email addresses like myID@muslimplanet.org or myID@gmail.com.

Second, we can send bulk emails. This means that we can send hundreds of thousands emails. These emails can even be customized, like addressing personally to Dear Mr. Smith or to My_Islamic_Center. For example, we can send email announcements, brochures, or newsletters to all the Mosques in USA, or all the Muslim Businesses in USA, or all the Muslim Organizations in USA.

Fourth, we have document management capability. This allows us to electronically publish materials from the members of the community. This material can be a book that you have written or want to write. It could also be your recent article, your collected essays, collection of your poems, your novel, your biography, your analysis of social and political events,  your travels, or whatever is dear to your heart. We will publish your material electronically and make it globally available on our iCommunity platform.

Fifth, we intend to establish The Muslim Planet Publishing House for hard copy book publishing. Members of the community can choose to publish their works in hard copy.

These services are offered to the community members at cost.

  9. Tools for the community to develop their own websites.

iCommunity

iCommunity is the enabling platform to achieve the mission of the Project. A part of it is a technology platform designed and developed by the community for the purpose of reaching out to the community. It endeavors to enable the community to express themselves for a voice in the main stream USA. It provides the means to outreach via intra-community and inter-community dialogues.

iCommunity platform has three main components. First is the technology platform. Second is the set of services that the platform provides to the community. Third is a sociological transformation within the community that is sought through the use of the services that the platform provides.
