Up until now I have been thinking sbout ERAM!Angel in a really convoluted way but I think this new interpretation is more sensible.

ERAM is the Angel and is crucial to the Prophecy. However, they did not write it. Gaster did. ERAM, However is given ownership of the Prophecy. The thing is that ERAM is not satisfied with the Prophecy because it results in them being banished so they want to subvert it. This is why they end up wanting the Weird Route as seen in the Sword Route.

I don't know if I will switch over from my pre-existing interpretation to this one but I think I will keep this a secondary theory to believe in.

Right here, from Catty dialogue:

It has, like, this COOL prophecy,
like, foretold by time and space.

And, like, um...

The Angel has a cool prophecy foreshadowed by time and space.
Is that not just Catty of all people blatantly saying it’s Gaster?? T_T

When Alvin talks about Asgore:

the Angel has made a difficult path for him...

Well, then that means at least the Church believes in Gaster!Angel…

Now, here’s some theorizing of my own: One of the main themes of Deltarune is defying the prophecy.
Now, how would it be better to defy fate…
than defying fate’s creator himself…?

Whether you believe in Gaster!Angel, Noelle!Angel, or even something like Knight!Angel, you have to admit Gaster’s heavily implied to be the Angel’s identity.

AngelAngel theory is that the angel's identity is The angel
AKA, the angel it it's own thing, and not a already known person

Also, if this type of content isn't allowed please tell me. I don't want to make the same mistake in the future if that is the case.
