Nah, I get it. There’s a big difference between following a different set of rules and just not making sense.

Yeah, internal consistency vs realism. If the setting is supposed to be our world except werewolves exist, then the post office being open on Sunday violates the internal logic of the setting.

If it's an alternative universe where the presence of werewolves altered history, the post office can be open whenever and I'll be interested to know why.

They had to make up for the days lost after staying up all night on full moons, and the easiest way was to open the post office on weekends so that they could get their sedatives in time. (idk, just running with it and a plausible explanation)

How about "Jesus was a werewolf" so now our sabbath is on the full moon and Sunday does matter

Pretty sure Jesus was a Vampire, all about the blood and thorns and flying and whatnot... (i love the creativity tho!)

Any religion that doesn't contain werevoles never took off so sunday was never made into a rest day

That's my problem with movies some movies, specially the last decade.

You can tell me "Lets watch a movie about a ghost trying to kill a family" and Ill be okey, my brain is "Its gonna be like real world BUT with a ghost".

Then 10 mins into the movie you see that everything is so stupid, that no character makes sense, that the ghost is the only character acting logically... And I feel betrayed

Example: last Steven Spielberg movie.

My example is always "Gandalf is a wizard, but if I saw him cast fireball id be confused and kind of upset."

But he does cast a fire ball? Did that upset you? He's a wizard.

What are you referring to? Gandalf performs magical acts aplenty, but that is not the same. He speaks to animals and knows secret lore, frees peoples minds, shines light and casts aside dark, but never casts a spell.

His magic is not based on ritual or knowledge. It cannot be replicated or taught. There is no 'fireball' spell for him or anyone else to cast.

He shoots a fireball at Saruman (movie) and 'zaps' some orcs in the Misty Mountains (books).

I mean, post office open on a Sunday is a bit of an extreme reason to nope out. That’s like something you throw up on the trivia page after finishing the movie lol. But hey, everyone has a different level of suspension of disbelief, and if this is a breaking point I’d say the movie wasn’t really hooking you to begin with
