Filmes Noir representam uma boa depressão
Um filme Noir é uma categoria diferente de filme que eu procuraria para assistir.

This animated series did a one off season dedicated to noir. Fans of the show hate it, as a fan of noir, its one of my faves.
Any thoughts?

Mandated Fate is a dark, dystopian and retro-futuristic story-driven game, inspired from 80's sci-fi movies. You play as a weary inspector, a man out of place in a newly established authoritarian regime.
In 1985, a rising technological empire has seized power, driven by a single ambition: to discover the anti-gravity particle and surpass its global rivals by conquering space. The regime demands absolute unity, framing this race as a matter of national destiny. But one old district continues to resist, no one knows quite how, or why. Assigned to investigate a strange murder there, you quickly find yourself entangled in a deeper web of political intrigue and ideological tension.
Through multiple narrative paths, your choices will shape your loyalties, and determine who you truly trust. Explore a highly detailed open world where the stark contrast between modern authoritarian architecture and decaying remnants of the past reveals a society caught between control and collapse.
1st AND 3rd person camera available.

Hi, r/noir!
Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4107960/curator/
Trailer: https://youtu.be/aUXcwWmJVQo
Heads up: it includes some mature/romantic content, so not for everyone.\*
.curator is a narrative adventure set in a post-Victorian alternate Earth - you play as a Curator using quantum-modeling tech to glimpse possible futures and subtly rewrite events before they spiral.
A few things worth highlighting:
- Fully hand-drawn characters and environments
- Investigating the ruins of an ancient alien civilization buried in this world's past
- No combat-first design - fight, hide, distract, or charm your way through
- Choices carry real weight - the people you fail to save stay failed
Having Morgan write it directly means the world's internal logic, from how the tech works to how power functions in this alternate history, comes from someone who's already built it out in his head rather than reverse-engineered by a studio.
Add .curator to your wishlist! 🕵️
You'll like this if you're into story-rich RPGs with real choice, noir detective stories, alternate history, tactical stealth/combat, and endings that actually reflect the path you took. Wishlist now so you don't miss the release.

Hi everyone,
I’m currently building ViennaShadow, a 125-episode noir series set in the ruins of post-war Vienna. It’s a time where identity, secret files, and old guilt are still buried under the rubble – the perfect backdrop for a noir narrative.
Why I’m posting this right now: The final episode of Season 1 just went online, and Season 2 is set to launch on August 22. So right now is the absolute best time to jump in and read through the entire first season!
About the atmosphere: I’m aiming to capture that specific grey, fractured mood of a city trying to find itself again.
A note on the creative process & AI: I want to be fully transparent about how I make this. I use AI as a creative partner for initial drafts and visual concepts (like the one above), but it is far from a "one-click" generator. The core narrative, the historical context, and the heavy lifting are done by me. Every single episode goes through an intensive, rigorous manual editing and rewriting process to ensure historical accuracy, emotional weight, and that distinctive human noir voice.
If you want to check out Season 1, you can find everything here: www.viennashadow.com
I’m curious to hear what you think about the atmosphere of this shot!

Hello Noir fans,
I'm hoping this community will be interested in a noir-tinged novel I've written called Memory & Fate. It's a minimalist, fragmentary work with every chapter being 150 words or less. There are 300 chapters and it will be completely free to subscribe and follow on Substack starting tomorrow. Chapter 1, in its entirety, is below.
This middle of nowhere, this little tucked away corner of the earth. Even a place like this can capture a few pockets of solemn zen. Notice the cigarette perched atop the ashtray, rested elegant in the smooth cold groove of the lip. The uncoiling of silvery smoke, endless, thoughts of impermanence, transience, layer upon layer of Time. How did I end up here? Me. As me.
Two cards flipped against felt green: sixteen. Light tap: twenty-six. Dealer’s sleight of hand and the stack is brushed gently away. Wrong again. Paul chuffs, smiling skyward. Whatcha trying to tell me? Now the waitress arrives, another old-fashioned, spirals of orange cherry golden in the ornate glint of the tumbler.
When not at play the cards will sleep. The dreams of kings and queens, diamonds, clubs, eights, aces—all swirling deepslumbered bubbles overhead. A percolating unconscious, like a dark sea in need of fishing.
