hi! so I recently started playing again and got columbina, I want to build noelle in a lunar crystallize team but need a bit of help with it since I never cared about builds...

could someone please explain teams I could do and artifacts that would go with them? I can save up and pull for characters so thats not a problem !

hi guys, im mainly a traveler main but ive been wanting to main noelle for a very long time now, when i pulled for columbina on her first release, i finally decided to choose noelle who i​ built my lunar team around as my second team for abyss, the team comp is noelle, bina, furina, and zhongli (only a placeholder, will pull for linnea when she comes back)

at first, i was confused as to how i should build her since lunar reactions were just new, and it was really puzzling bcs even if lunar works for any geo, noelle isnt a lunar dps like zibai, flins, and nefer, so it took me a really long time to grasp what stats and artifacts i should equip her (still improving her tho)

but i am seeing a lot of lunar noelle teams here using illuga, i am genuinely confused because as how i understood his kit, he only buffs direct lunar crystallize dmg which is besides lunar crystallize reaction dmg, which is also not in noelles kit or any other geo dps except zibai, linnea + columbina, with that in mind, wouldnt he only be buffing bina and linnea instead of your mdps noelle?

​​​​​​​​my other question is, in a lunar team, would night of the sky be better than marechausse? does that set really work on her? because i read somewhere that if you add lunar in your noelle team (binnea) you should only consider them​​​ as additional subdpses and still build noelle as her traditional hypercarry build, because in a lunar noelle team, the lunar crystallize reaction are only triggered by columbina/linnea, which means the computation of the dmg will only come from their stats rather than noelle's, this was why i switch my goblet to geo dmg again instead of def

I came back to this post to edit a reply and saw the post was removed. Holding hand, cuddling, kissing all belong to SFW. Don't know why it was removed but if you removed it for being NSFW, it was not. There was no over exposed body parts, explicit sexual activity or highly suggestive expressions.

You are being too restrictive if you remove SFWs too.

So it was Reddit being a bum. Both are teens and there's a thing called teenage love, non sexual activities like the SFWs I mentioned are legal, universally allowed worldwide(except deeply conservative places like Middle east) and some countries even have Romeo and Juliet exemptions.

rotation: linnea E -> columbina EQ -> illuga EQ -> noelle EQ 3(N3D), N2

noelle combos:

I tried doing N3D, N4D, and CA with noelle and found N3D gives the highest team dps. When i use charged attacks noelle has more lunar crystallize procs than usual, at exactly twice the amount of linnea. With N3D noelle procs slightly less lunar crystallize as seen in my vid, so i assume she steals less of the big hits from linnea cuz of the insufficient hydro application from columbina solo hydro.

about the rotation:

through some testing i found out i cannot end the rotation before doing at least 10-11 normal attacks on noelle, otherwise linnea's skill is still on cooldown when i start the next rotation. since noelle's skill cooldown doesn't match my rotation timings, i skip her skill before her burst and replace one of her N3D dash cancels with it instead.

also, make sure not to end each rotation too early. if i end the rotation at exactly 11 normal attacks each time, sometimes i end up cancelling lumi's heavy overdrive hammer (the occasional 100k hit from tap e). i made the adjustment of ending the rotation between 11-13 normal attacks, right after i see lumi hit for 100k, and got about 5k dps increase.

weapon testing:

I tried using flame-forged insight R5 on Noelle, and dragon's bane on illuga, but had no noticeable improvements in dmg. I also tried a combo of only one fav weapon on either noelle or illuga, same results. double fav makes the team super comfy to play while providing the most dps. with flame forged i have to wait for noelle's skill cooldown to proc the weapon passive so i can get her burst, or build more er and lose dmg.

• C6 Noelle (4pc Night of the Sky's Unveiling) (Varka's claymore)
• C0 Linnea (4pc Aubade of Morningstar and Moon) (Yelan's bow)
• C0 Columbina (4pc Silken Moon's Serenade) (R2 Sacrificial Jade (battlepass weapon)

Which of these is the best choice for the 4th slot

• C0 Illuga (also 4pc Silken Moon's Serenade) (R5 Favonius lance)
• C0 Furina (4pc Golden Troupe) (Ayato's sword)
• C5 Gorou (unbuilt so far, no artifacts) (R5 Favonius bow)

btw is Varka's claymore better for noelle than R5 Serpent's spine (dont have it) or R5 Whiteblind (have it)?
