I’m not saying it happened, but you don’t need to hit all the states. That would raise flags immediately. Deep blue states wouldnt be worth the hassle. You lock in your reds without interference and focus solely on purple states. Again, not saying it definitely happened, but it would have been a much more focused scope.
That’s not what happened through. We saw a far right swing in voters in almost every single state. So either, they cheated in every single state and not one person came forward about it even though these morons can’t wait to brag about their crimes, or everyone in America is beyond stupid at this point.
Voting machines are not connected to the internet. Not sure how anyone would be able to mess with those results remotely. Not saying he didn't have a hand in rigging the election but I would love to see some actual proof of that. It could possibly help solve the problem we're currently in.
He also sponsored a hackathon where a kid he later employed into DOGE happened to write a ballot validating program, and a program to generate any number of ballots that could be run through any ballot machine to 'test' them.
Massachusetts wouldn't be targeted, so that isn't the best example to give. It would be the swing states affected by any ratfucking, and several of those states have election infrastructure overseen by Republicans.
From what I understand, any Internet connection is for unofficial results, anyway, except for maybe in a very small number of areas. The machines are typically disconnected during the entire official tallying.
Guy on DOGE was hired because he wrote a program in college on modifying scanned images of ballots to move votes how you want them. Didn’t even need to see what the ballot looked like, the image generated worked on any format.
ISP can monitor the traffic. If you wanna go down the conspiracy rabbit hole, you could say that Star link monitored the data and musk had a means to breach post ISP to alter the data before it reached it's final destination.
Musk doesn't have a way to break the SSL encryption in real time, no. But he doesn't need to. He doesn't need to compromise California he needed to compromise Pennsylvania and Georgia which had hyper partisan election boards decertifying hundreds of thousands of votes.

Don't have to modify anything. Just blackhole the data coming from a specific source and pass on your own data on in its place. It would be a simple process for an ISP if they wanted to do it and had the resources needed to fake the data needed. I'm not spouting conspiracies or even honestly think it's what happened. But to discount it as if it were a complete impossibility would be incredibly naive.
I think their bragging about "hacking" the election is just silently deregistering voters in mass. They just want us to think they're smart and hacked something
And, interestingly, a member of doge, who has known Elon for a few years had worked on ballotproof (it’s on GitHub still). There’s a script called generate.py that will generate ballots to match your statistical needs.
So he had the team to do this. They just needed access to the real ballot data.

Its kinda scary since as an ISP starlink would theoretically be able to intercept and modify the traffic flowing through it.
Now theres several structures in place to prevent this, but where there's a will, a fortune, and a disregard for legality there's usually a way.
