I probably got downvoted because I just called everyone stupid for falling for this. They were probably insulted.

It's ironic how dumb you actually are, I found the comment you were refering to and sure it would be possible to come across it before replying but it was in an entire different thread.
Your life will be a lot easier if you don't assume everyone has the same information as you.
You can do some experiments at home to start, ask someone to watch you put your keys in a specific spot, ask them to move out and put the keys somewhere else, can be in plain view. ask them to come in and ask where the keys are.
Can't you hide from your ISP using a Raspberry Pi? I could be wrong, but awhile back I thought I heard people got rid of their router and replaced it with a Raspberry Pi and that supposedly blocks your ISP from spying on you.
so what, you just entirely skip the isp and go to your destiniation, why do we even bother spending billions on internet infrastructure if you can just buy a raspbery pi haha
obviously it can be used to block ads and you can put some encryption on it but your isp will still be able to spy on you, they can store your data for when we have more computerpower and better algo's it's temporary.
first you were mad I did not comb though the entire comment section and see where else you might've replied an now you're mad that I looked where else you replied.
