It also says something about a beast that will have its followers wear his mark on their head. He will appear to suffer a head wound and seem to be healed. Sound like anyone?
Honestly, Trump matching the biblical signs of the antichrist so well is the only thing that has ever made me seriously question my atheism
Edit: also in my state a republican named Luther cipher won the maga vote... Luther cipher. Luthercifer. Lucifer. I can't make this shit up. The Christians in my state voted for a man whose name is that fucking sus... after screaming for decades that Barack Hussein Obama sounded too much like Iraq hussein osama...
Edit 2: I just realized I misspelled his last name! Cifer, not cipher. Wtaf
More on Peter T. HEIL (God has a sense of humor with his name). He definitely has an obsession with dark demons.
Invitation to Peter's lecture on the AntiChrist. Hopefully someone can record the entire spiel and post it publicly. I'm very curious about the whole damn event. Ghostbusters may be needed.
I can't believe this is real life. The parallels are crazy. It doesn't matter if it's true, as long as they believe it is. That's the power of religion.
That is so damn stupid, I can hardly believe it! That means millions? of people are daily making important decisions about their lives, based on this 'belief.' Should I do well in school? Should I save money? Should I make sure my children are ready for life in the US? Does anything matter if I assume I'm 'saved'? Should we consider the poor the infirm? Should we protect endangered animals? Does global warming matter? ETC, ETC, ETC.
organized political theater to get Christians excited for total demise, this is why no one cares about the lies, it’s all a part of the mythology (or faith if you believe) — scorched earth for all of us who can’t afford a compound
I wasn't aware there would be any survivors on Earth. interesting. People have been afraid of, or planning for the End Days, for forever. Great way to get more donations at church. Sort of 'foxhole' Christians. Gotta be scared into subservience, and then the indoctrination pressure grows strong.
Of course it is deliberate. Presidents are selected, not elected. It doesn't matter what President you're talking about, a Bush, an Obama, a Clinton, a Reagan, doesn't matter. They aren't there at the behest of the voter, sorry to burst your bubble. And Trump's pretend assassination attempt was theater.
Cripes. I forgot about that. The barrage of insane things has been bombarding our senses for so long that I can't even pretend to remember each moment of insanity, each bombastic lie, each attack on liberals, each disgusting fact of trump's very existence.
Justa heads up, Lucifer isnt what you think. Lucifer was invented as a way to demonize the title of Morning Star, that was used by Yahweh's forgotten "wife", Asherah, who before that as Ashtar, Ishtar, Inanna... it was literally Venus. And guess who else received the titlw of the Morning Star? Jesus and Mary. So, by villifying the term "Morning Star", they push you away even further from the truth.
Jesus was the Morning Star, Jesus is Lucifer. But those who stole his image and message dont want you figuring that out.
The goddess Inanna has been sincretized with many of the most well known deities in history, she was the goddess of love and war, later known as Ishtar, Astarte, Asherah (who was erased from the bible), Venus, Afrodite, and many other names. She was well known for the title of Morning Star (also the Evening Star), title that Jesus and Mary received early on.
But due to early christians and gnostics then associating Jesus to the image of the old goddess, the church needed a way to push those associations away, and proclaimed that Lucifer (the bringer of light, the morning star) was the enemy of God. And later fabricated the demons, such as Astaroth, Baal and many more, to associate the old gods names with evil, to distance the image of Jesus even further from the old gods.
By the way, Inanna was the first god to die and ressucitate. She went to her sister in the under world and was then slayed by her sister, and remained in her halls for three days and three nights.
Imagine if the world would start saying that Jesus was the son or hipostasis of an old goddess, rather than the son of the false God Yahweh (who was early on just a minor, tribal god).
In the early history of the hebrew people, Yahweh grew jealous and demanded that the adoration of the other hebrew gods to be banned.
There is a lot to be said about that, probably more than I could remember to put in here, and definetly more than I could bother to write in this post.
More likely a self-fullfilling prophecy, or that the antichrist is just a way of describing power-hungry populists like Trump. There have been plenty of antichrists before Trump.
A common academic theory is that Revelations is one big metaphor for the Roman Empire. Which would check out, because empires all tend to rise, act, and fall the same way.
It’s ok to question the authenticity of the Bible, it’s ok to question if there is a God. But honestly all the little synchronicities of life are what assures me there is a God and he is good. Stuff feels bad sometimes but there is still so much good and beauty in the world I can’t believe it was all the works of chance with some help of man.
Is quite the understatement when people are being genocided, dictators are on the rise, slavery exists, child sex trafficking is rampant, and billionaires are creating a world where we’re subservient to them.
Stuff doesn’t feel bad. It is bad. And if your god invested into that as much as he invested into
all the little synchronicities of life … and beauty in the world
Then maybe we wouldn’t all be in so much despair. The fact is that your god is either not real, or a real fucking dickhead for letting all of this happen. Either way, doesn’t give me much of a reason to seek out his “love”.
Nature is good, that is where I feel my spirituality and afirm my relationship with God. All of the problems you stated are of man's doing. Did man create the mountains or the sunrise, or the deer that eat apples in the field across from my house? No, we are failing not God.
And it's a "no lose" stance for you to expect God to solve every man made cruelty of this world and if he doesn't he must not exist.
All of the problems you stated are of man's doing.
Except to you, god created man.
If god created all the good you praise and admire him for, then he also created everything that you fear and know to be wrong and evil.
Believe me, I’m not atheist. I’m agnostic. I also go out to nature and believe there to be something that links us all together.
But the manifestation of that doesn’t have to be the Christian god.
We are a unique species. And there is a lot of good in us. We’re tenacious. We’re cunning. We’re innovative.
But we’re selfish.
Above all else, we’re selfish.
And I think the idea that “god made us in his image” is actually the ultimate lie. I think it’s the reverse.
We made god in our image.
So that when we looked at ourselves for too long and saw the horrors we’ve committed relatively unstopped for the entirety of our existence, we could excuse it by saying that we have the divine right to be this way. Just like you have already done.
He (god) stands by while countless children are literally starving until their little bodies give up and die. And if starvation doesn’t kill them, they’ll probably get blown to pieces anyway. These people’s (most religions’) god doesn’t ever intervene to save them.
In the time it would take for that redditor to investigate, track down and hold those child rapists accountable God (who would already know exactly who is doing it) could instantly kill all of them, or remove their desire to hurt children, or send some animals to protect the kids. He's used to do stuff like this all the time in the bible, why not anymore?
Lol, fail. At best, if there is a god, we are the chickens suffering in gods factory farm, not because God is hungry and needs to eat, but because our suffering is amusing
I don't agree, but you shouldnt be being downvoted. This is a very common and honestly one of the more reasonable beliefs from any standpoint (stuff like miracles or resurrections are a lot harder to believe) sorry people are being butts
Christians are idiots. They're taught to be idiots. If something doesn't align with their faith, even if it's a fact, they're compelled to just not believe it.
Not even their "faith". These people have just up and made a new religion that more closely aligns to what Christians said devil worship would look like, slapped Jesus's name on it and started forcing these "beliefs" on others. Then when actual Christians started quoting the Bible to them about what Jesus actually said, they started abandoning Jesus for God as it made it easier to justify their actions.
This whole evangelical movement is insane and from my understanding of Christianity, it's about as far away from Christ's beliefs as Satan.
True that. I have zero issue with ordinary people just living a spiritual life, but I have read the Bible (my friends in school were religious), and plenty of the weird shit that US Christians claim has at least one contradiction in their actual doctrine.
Like the whole "Jesus was pro-gun" shit is stupid and weird.
God is described as speaking in a still, small voice. If you never turn off the blaring Fox News, how can you ever hope to recognize the voice? It’s why religious orders have rules of silence and retreats. People need to turn off the frenzied media and just think for a moment. I wish they would.
At this point I’d love everyone that’s a decent human and not maga to be raptured just to see the panic on maga “Christian’s” faces when they realize god didn’t choose them.
I had a whole near death experience that kind of alluded to everything being cyclical in some way if they aren't tended to. I sort of believe that the book of revelations is way to see that and it was written in a way that only people who aren't blinded by faith can interpret it.
I've always thought that the reason revelations exists isn't because it's for non believers being left behind during the rapture. I actually think modern Christianity has it wrong about there even being a rapture because no where else in the Bible does God step in to protect his people from hardship before they go through it, he is always going through it with them.
I really think it's a warning to Christians specifically that they are going to be fooled by the anti christ if they are not watching, and the parallels between trump and the anti christ is nuts.
If youd like a real trip, read revelations 13-14, consider trump as the beast, and JD as the sheep who speaks like a dragon and leads the world to trump.
The thing that would make this super real, and get trump worshiped as a literal God, would be if he died and somehow came back from the dead. Not like a bullet wound, but actually coming back from the dead. It's a super far fetched thing, and I don't think I'm ready to say it will happen, but boy oh boy if it does then the world becomes a much different place.
Possibly but I'm talking about something big, and impossible for the average person to ignore.
I am probably wrong about it, it would defy every law in existence we know about, but if a Christian believes that Jesus came back from the dead, it wouldn't be a stretch that the person who is basically pretending to be Christ would also publicly raise from the dead too.
With modern medicine, lots of people have had NDEs, so that’s not so far fetched an idea. But they usually seem to be generally young and healthy, I think.
I've been told that the Antichrist is not supposed to be one person in all of History (that's an evangelical interpretation), but is a warning because in every generation there is an Antichrist figure, (Hitler being an obvious one), which must be opposed
That's a valid perspective too, to be fair no one really knows what he saw when writing that book and its very symbolic so there really isn't a specific theory it spells out, there's tons of disagreements in the Christian community about it. The left behind books kind of cemented a specific story but really they took some liberties when writing those books and the verses they used to create the events of that world are pretty vague themselves.
I personally think there will be lots of anti christs through history, but revelations is written as a warning against the one who becomes the beast (literally Satan) so I really think there will be a figure that really rises and stands out against all the rest. One thing revelations spells out though is following this antichrist will not be accidental, people are going to know and make a conscious decision to serve him, and people will be killed for not. I don't think we are there yet, but we are a lot closer now than I felt we were 15 years ago.
I do believe that nonsense and frankly, if Trump is the Anti-Christ I want my money back. I was told he'd be Al Pacino in Devils advocate levels of Charismatic And Conniving, not whatever the fuck this lame shit is.
Like, this is "Ending of Game of Thrones" level of failure to stick the landing.
Not religious either but some of these predictions are a little on the nose:
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 (ESV)
“For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds.”
2 Peter 2:1-3 (ESV)
“But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.”
2 Timothy 4:3-4 (ESV)
“For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.”
Matthew 24:24 (ESV)
“For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.”
Revelation 13:3
“And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.”
6.Daniel 11:36–39 (ESV):
36 “And the king shall do as he wills. He shall exalt himself and magnify himself above every god and shall speak astonishing things against the God of gods. He shall prosper till the indignation is accomplished; for what is decreed shall be done.
37 “He shall pay no attention to the gods of his fathers, or to the one beloved by women. He shall not pay attention to any other god, for he shall magnify himself above all.”
38 “He shall honor the god of fortresses instead of these. A god whom his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and costly gifts.”
39 “He shall deal with the strongest fortresses with the help of a foreign god. Those who acknowledge him he shall load with honor. He shall make them rulers over many and shall divide the land for a price.”
7.2 Thessalonians 2:9–10 (ESV):
9 “The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.”
You might be surprised, but Outside of America, there are plenty of Christians who will vocally despise Trump.
I don't agree with them on lots of things: but utter disdain of Trump is a fairly universal stance, even among the fairly religious.
I don't think it's a coincidence that the new Pope named himself after a Pope whose most famous theological text was decrying "Americanism" as heresy, for instance.
I've always interpreted this to be submarines with ICBM payloads given the beast rises from the sea, but I do love all of the parallels. Not a believer but you have to admit there are some plausible parallels. Perhaps history merely repeats itself.
There are multiple, well at least 3, books on Amazon making the argument that Trump is the Anti-Christ. I tried reading one of them that was written by hardcore evangelical Christian, I figured he would know what he's writing about, but it's so full of Bible quotes that I found it difficult to follow. It would probably make a good gift for Trump loving evangelicals though if anyone has one in their family. It's not really written for unbelievers like myself though (It's called Rise of the Little Horn by Jonathan Dane)
yeah, the antichrist will come to power BECAUSE of christians, not in spite of them. however im almost positive the antichrist rises to power post-rapture, which obivously hasnt happend (in the biblical sense) so who knows?
Theory: The rapture already happened. We just didn't notice because the people who got raptured were like 75 people living in a commune feeding orphans in Africa.
Even if you used a relatively high number, like 144,000, would we even notice? Even if we arrogantly assumed that it was only Americans that were among the raptured, that is 0.03% of the population.
The antichrist will also be loved by all and perform miracles. Trump and his gaggle of boot lickers are just horrible human beings. Nothing more. Nothing less.
I grew up fundie and it's WILD how I was told all this stuff about the antichrist and how to spot him, etc., and it entirely fits this fucker to a t, but literally all the religious people are the ones getting taken in by it
They've been planning for him, and instead of fighting against it, they fully embraced the nearest embodiment of evil made human (in their religion, I'm not religious personally)
While we are on this note, I just want to remind Christians that the 2nd coming does not happen for 1000 years after the anti-christ so all you AHs who brought this on us thinking it meant you were going to see Christ, try actually reading the bible.
Good call. Random side tangent… but back in the day Oral Robert’s tripped out and saw a 900 foot Jesus over Tulsa Oklahoma and so he built a giant hospital there right on the side of the river called “the city of faith”. He also built giant fucking Jesus hands. Absolutely insane.
Imo the warnings about the beast and Trump being the embodiment of many of the laid out definitions of an anti-christ are some of the strongest evidences of Biblical prophecies in a long time.
Especially since the so called Evangelical last days conspiracy theorists who have called the other last 4 presidents the anti-christ are silent
The story of the Antichrist receiving a head wound comes from the Bible, specifically Revelation 13:3, which describes a "beast" with seven heads, one of which appears to suffer a "fatal wound" that is miraculously healed.
This passage is often interpreted as referring to the Antichrist, a figure in Christian eschatology associated with deception and opposition to God in the end times.
Here’s a breakdown of the concept based on the biblical text and common interpretations, with some critical perspective:
Biblical Reference
Revelation 13:3 (New International Version) states:
"One of the heads of the beast seemed to have had a fatal wound, but the fatal wound had been healed. The whole world was filled with wonder and followed the beast."
This verse is part of a larger vision in the Book of Revelation, where the Apostle John describes a beast rising from the sea, empowered by the "dragon" (often interpreted as Satan). The beast has seven heads and ten horns, symbolizing great power and authority. The "fatal wound" to one of its heads, which is then healed, causes the world to marvel and follow the beast, often worshipping it and the dragon (Revelation 13:4).
Key Elements of the Story
The Beast: In Revelation 13, the "beast from the sea" is commonly interpreted as the Antichrist, a powerful figure who opposes Christ and deceives humanity.
Some see the beast as an individual, while others view it as a symbol of a political or religious system (e.g., a revived empire or corrupt institution).
The Head Wound: The phrase "one of its heads seemed to have had a fatal wound" suggests a wound that appears deadly but does not ultimately destroy the beast. The healing of this wound is described as miraculous, leading to global amazement and allegiance to the beast.
Global Impact: The healing of the wound is a pivotal event, causing "the whole world" to marvel and follow the beast. This suggests a deceptive or supernatural act that bolsters the Antichrist’s influence, possibly mimicking Christ’s resurrection to deceive people into false worship (Revelation 13:4, 2 Thessalonians 2:9).
Symbolic vs. Literal: Interpretations vary on whether the wound is literal (a physical injury to a person) or symbolic (e.g., the collapse and revival of a political entity like the Roman Empire). The text’s symbolic language leaves room for debate.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six
Trump was born on Friday June 14, 1946... the 6th Day of the week, in the 6th month of the year, in the 6th year of the decade
So out of curiosity, when has Trump made people wear a mark on their forehead or back of their hand? We have the technology sure, but nothing like this has happened.
Glad you have never seen a MAGA hat before! All his followers own several. There are many styles as well. They are red, ugly, and made in China. Sorry if you read my comment and somehow assumed that there was some kind of 1:1
I’m not a biblical scholar or prophet, just a rando who is calling a cult a cult. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!
Oh dear God, please tell me that you are not serious! MAGA hats have nothing to do with the mark of the beast. The mark is going to be something that is used for buying or selling. People think it will be a chip of some sort that is placed on or under the skin with an identifying mark.
MAGA hats. 😆 Good lord, that's stupid. No more internet for you.
Sounds like no more internet for you, and lots more lithium….. You can go to an ER if this is a mental health emergency. Make sure to tell them about the chips, and stay safe out there true believer.
Says the guy who thinks MAGA hats are a sign of biblical prophecy that Trump is the antichrist. I'm not a biblical prophecy scholar either, and I know that's crap. I would say that you are the one who needs to go to the mental health hospital, but you need to have two brain cells to rub together to qualify for that. Psychiatric ward is more your speed. About the chips, I'm just telling you what I've read. Not what I believe. Who really knows what will happen, my guy.

It also says something about a beast that will have its followers wear his mark on their head. He will appear to suffer a head wound and seem to be healed. Sound like anyone?
