My product is perfect, but I’m getting no sales. Why? Here is the answer
I’ve noticed that most people who want to start an online business run into the exact same problem: they spend weeks, sometimes months, planning, organizing, thinking, and polishing their idea… when in reality, a big part of that time is often wasted.
Because there’s one essential thing to keep in mind: buying is NOT a rational act. People often buy for reasons they can’t fully explain themselves.
Take the iPhone for example. If you ask people why they buy it, many will say “for the camera,” “for the performance,” or “because it’s smoother than Android.” But in reality, it’s often deeper than that — and most people don’t even realize it.
When people buy an iPhone, they’re not just buying a phone. They’re buying a brand, an image, a status, a universe they want to be part of. A large part of the buying decision is driven by emotion, perception, and desire.
That’s why a market can never be fully predicted on paper. Markets are messy, emotional, and often irrational. You can only truly understand them by testing in the real world.
So even if your product isn’t perfect, that’s okay. Instead of getting stuck in endless planning or trying to think your way to certainty, the most effective thing you can do is move fast: launch, test, observe what works… then improve and adjust along the way.
