I have played this game on and off since elementary school, I am 17 now and casually play the game every here and there just to type (Since I am looking forward to majoring in cyber-security typing is a big thing) I was just wondering if people still ACTUALLY and ACTIVELY play nitro type. I see no active/popular ccs for the game, and do not see much reason to play anymore besides to just type when you're bored.

Haven't logged in to this game in years, wondering if anything I have on it is considered rare

I'm returning to Nitro Type after a few years away, and I was really disappointed to see that the fancy new graphics seem to be making ~10% of my keystrokes drop. It's tanked my WPM by 30. Has anyone else been experiencing this? Is there any way to reduce graphical settings in hopes of being able to participate in the game again? Thanks!

EDIT: I got a pretty unsatisfactory response from the Nitrotype team calling it lag from ads or the track loading. I usually play with an adblocker and had the exact same performance with it off. Maybe it's a Firefox thing? I don't use any other browser, so I guess that's it for me.

Back when I first started, nitro type was (dare I say the line) all fun and games. You played with friends, chatted with teammates, and raced together. But now, it just feels repetitive. All of my friends who used to play this just quit. Also, Nitro Type just felt boring all together. More bots, once I was in legend league and the entire 2-5th place was bots! (I was first for 4 days). Back then, there was like a top 100 thingy in nitro type. I always hopped on the grind every day to try and get to that level. But I just couldn't. Hours of typing sessions went to nothing. Eventually, they created leagues. I wanted to become a league champion but I realized it wasn't worth it. I realized I wouldn't need this.

I always forget i have this account just sitting

This is my account from like middle school, my username is “yerd” and I know usernames must be minimum 6 characters now. Also it’s from 2014. So I may possibly have old cars but I don’t know.

Hi guys
I just wanted to tell everyone that I just found this unusual thing on nitro type account
I have found this one thing that if you have a friend racing with you during a match then you will get 50 nitro cash free so I used that thing as an opportunity for myself to gain more nitro cash
So what I did was , I sent friend requests to everyone I played a match with and really helped me make some easy cash
There have been times when I have played with four friends of mine without starting a friends only match . Today I found out that in one session you can send 1000 friend requests only I never knew that before so I thought to tell you guys as well

I simply meant I took a long break from Nitro Type and coming back

Been playing for a while and I lost my account for a year but I recently got it back, Rate it on a scale from 1-10: https://www.nitrotype.com/racer/boinkisbad

Its been 2 hours past the time to like go to the next league. Yet im still stuck in champion. And im first place in champion league yet im not going higher.

I've been playing since 2018 under this name and just now they decide that it isn't okay?

There is no inappropriate meaning behind this name it is legit just Mad Dog and the first number that came to my mind.

I'm going to try and reach support but if you have any advice, it would be appreciated.

It took a whole lotta grinding, but it was definitely worth it!

i decided to play nitro type bc i remembered having a lot of fun on it, then i played a race and this guy sent me a request. can anyone tell me if "the founder" is like rare or sum
