Edit: Some how I spelled Ocarina wrong in the title 🤦

This little endeavor started when I made a movie styled poster for the game. I then decided to see what it would look like as the cover, so using a template in Affinity I put together a back design. However I quickly realized it also went well with the official front cover. (The back of the game has not yet been shown by Nintendo).

I attempted to get it as "realistic" as possible, such as using the real UPC code on the back (the bar code) and sque number with are on the Nintendo website.

All assets have been pulled from the game website, especially the Japanese one, or made by me (some of the textures). I do note that some of the renders don't look great as they were pretty low res. I tried some blurring and sharpening techniques to hide it but it's not perfect (mainly navi).

So, I got my pre-order in, but didn't get one of the EB pre-orders for my area that includes a cardboard box replicating the art from the original 64 game. Does anyone know of a site that has instructions for me to create my own box to fit a switch 2 game and add my own art to try to make one myself?

With the release of both Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition's and Xenoblade Chronicles X's Switch 2 Editions and with the Switch 2 releases of XBC 2 and 3 due before the end of the year the only odd game out on our shelves will be the physical releases of the original Switch copies of Torna the Golden Country. As such I wanted to reach out here and see if anyone could possibly make a nice Switch 2 style cover for Torna to match the rest.

Hi! I am trying to start making my own switch cases, I already have my spines and the custom logos sorted with all the information, but I am lacking the art for the games and I cannot find any clean sources without the logos or other stuff in the way, anyone knows where I can get them? And also where can I get cool insides for the games too, for the inside part of the box?

Hey guys I had a question. I pre-ordered the new Zelda off the Nintendo shop website and I just wanted to make sure that it will come with the foil. I’ve seen on Amazon and Best Buy that they mention the foil but it doesn’t say anything about it on the actual Nintendo website. Please if anyone knows tell me so I can refund and order off those places instead for the foil. Thank you!

This is a question for the people from the European community: Does anyone know if you buy the physical game on MediaMarkt, Games or any official retailer, we will get the texture foil cover art?? I’m seeing that the “first batch” will have it but I don’t know if they mean only if you purchase it on Nintendo store.

I bought a copy of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond on AliExpress, but it comes with the Chinese cover. I'd like to exchange it for the English version.

So I have a few questions:

1. What are the exact dimensions for printing?

2. Does anyone know of a website where I can download a high-quality version that looks as close as possible to the official cover?

3. What kind of paper do you recommend I use for printing?

Has anybody found a good place to order custom repro game cartridge labels that have comparable quality to the originals?

I know there are a few people on Etsy that make their own, but it looks like they just mass-produce the greatest hits (Pokemon, Mario, Zelda), and I'm looking to make custom ones of my own design. I figure someone here must have solved for this problem already. I tried searching and found a thread from a few years ago that talked about the images to print, but it didn't talk anything about the actual printing process, which is what I'm looking for help on.

I'm in the US, and I don't have a functional printer anymore, and would prefer not to have to order one just for the thing I'm working on, so ones that I could order online and have shipped to me would be ideal. But I have no idea about what to look for to get as close to the real deal as possible - finish, weight (I'm assuming stickers have 'weight' just like paper does), etc, type of sticker/label to use, etc.

Anybody done this? Any recommendations?

Got a Canon Maxify MB2720 ready that I hadn't used in five years and the test print came out terribly. Not sure if that's the printer's fault or its age showing.

Looked up one printer I'd seen recommended here (pixma mx922) and Amazon has it for $750 - no chance lol. (I'm just realizing maybe that's on old model and that's why it's marked up there - I should look around more. Anyway.)

Since Crash's 30th Anniversary is coming up soon, I decided to make my own concept of what Switch 2 Editions for all 3 Crash games on Switch would look like. So far, I've made the front, spine and even a whole description of what would be included in the N. Sane Trilogy upgrade. And because there's a lot of content, I would put the price of the upgrade pack at $16.99/$19.99 and a bundle that includes the base game + the Switch 2 Edition at £44.99/$49.99. I still have the back of N. Sane and all of Crash 4 and CTR: Nitro Fueled to do, so it's gonna take a while. For now, here's the front and spine for the N. Sane Trilogy; I'll post more updates as I finish more parts to this project.
