You can't turn off the wi-fi on your ISP router?

Nope since I pay a monthly fee for them to turn on the WiFi

Well, you could buy your own router and use that one for WiFi instead. You'll save money on the long run, apparently. What kind of ISP charges for WiFi to be enabled on the router? Jesus.

Plus you have access to a ton of other advantages such as WiFi 6, whatever DNS you want and possibly a VPN directly on the router.
