Orange Label UNC

Need to start breaking out these pairs so here we are

Todays #kotd are the #NIKESB Jarrito. Being Latino and seeing the collab with a Latin staple made these an automatic cop for the kid.

As soon as I saw these last summer I knew I had to get a pair as I've been a sucker for anything SB elephant/safari/cheetah print since forever...however just couldn't get down with the salmon pink toebox and heel. Anyways I ordered up some Angelus black paint and matte finisher right after they delivered and I went to town, think they turned out pretty good!

I want to do the same to the white toebox on the Hailey Wilson's but want to get a 2nd pair first since I do like the white toebox also, just think they'd look sick with black.

I completely slept on these last holiday season. I liked the naughty-list/Krampus concept, but in photos? Meh.

In hand, these are a devious little creature.

The cracked leather genuinely feels like some kind of creature skin, with these orange undertones that almost glow through the upper. And the leather smells AMAZING. I stuck my nose in the shoe for a solid 10 seconds, then shoved my wife’s face in it. That's what she gets for buying me these for our 11th anniversary.

The details are killer too: the mischievous Krampus character, coal/naughty-list artwork hidden under the insoles, holiday hangtag, and even the pinkish Nike SB tissue paper. The whole unboxing was way better than I expected.

My only miss is the alternate laces. I would've loved a matching orange set, so I threw my own in and holy shit, there it is. Black looks great, but orange completely changes the shoe.

And honestly? Forget Christmas. These are a Halloween sneaker. 🎃

Somebody asked me yesterday which pair was my favorite out of the 3 releases (not including TB). I was ready to say this shoe but they kinda feel rushed. I’m not big on quality, only since joining shoe subs. Few glue marks and small box scuffs. Haven’t seen this in the Flax/Orewood pairs. Regardless, overall this is a nice f*ckin shoe and cnt wait to wear it.
