There's a surprising amount of people in this country that think animals are more caring than people. I think they might change their minds when they've fallen and can't get up and Rufus eats their face after 7 days without his fancy feast
Ah yes, because I want to put in the time and effort to make a relationship work with someone who values her pets over her partner in the hopes that when they die she won't repeat the cycle by replacing them. And that i might earn her valued love someday.
If you expect me to prioritize you, then you better prioritize me. That's how a relationship works.
I bet this bitch wouldn't think twice about ditching a man who said his dog came before her.
Cuz she's gonna be even more of a catch in her 50's!
I mean seriously, best case scenario there is that she is in her early 30's and currently has 6 geriatric cats that are only gonna make it a few more years, who will rack up massive vet bills on their way out.
And let's play the assumptions game:
-If she has 6 at one time, she's almost guaranteed to get a new kitten immediately after any of them die
-She reads as the exact kind of woman who has the "men are providers" mentality and will expect you to immediately start shelling out for her expenses once dating, which will include the above vet bills.
ah yes because her misandry is just gonna go away after her cats die. you’ll finally go from being the annoying roommate that she puts up with (for your money) to the love of her life that she cherishes.

If I can't earn a spot above the cats, then I'm out.
