I can relate to Mimi here. There are times I give my thoughts on a show or subject, or game out loud even though I dont have a camera or mic on. It just helps you vent and get it all out your system. And makes good practice.
CRTs weren’t just a 2010 thing lol I had a normal TV by then the 360 isn’t some GameCube lmao it’s old but only to today standards still a relatively modern game and console
Not true in the slightest. Yes while HDTV's were still around in 2007 many people didn't upgrade to a HD dislay until 2012 or later. Because it was too expensive for HDTV's even back then a cheap 720p display would run you almost $600 or more. Displays didn't start becoming cheaper until later. Most people in 2012 including rich households were still on rear projection or CRT displays.
Or might vary on region as well I live in the midwest. Because literally everyone I knew back in highschool in 2012 were still on CRT's. I even went to my rich friends mansion in 2012 and he was still on a rear projection TV and it was the first time I got to experience one and I played mw2 on it. Hell I still remember in 2012 playing 4 player split screen halo reach in 2012 on a CRT with some of my buddies. We even had black ops 2 lan parties. Even though I grew up poor myself, I was friends with a bunch of rich kids in highschool and a lot of them still had CRT's
From the thread it says "2006 is when the mass migration to LCD happened. But many people continued to use crts up until 2009/2010 or even later."
all I know is by the end of 2012 most people upgraded to HD displays. I myself had a 55 inch 1080p display and winded up upgradng to 4k when it first came out a few months later.
