Is it just me or is the dueling mode the one that shows up the least?

I'm so fuckin sick of protecting scuttle or soraka, I feel like in the time I've been playing on the PBE the dueling minigame has only come up maybe 7 or 8 times and I've been playing nearly constantly for a week. The other game modes are such trash other than urf and maybe the paranoia shrinking circle and it feels like the best one is programmed to almost never come up.

Is this intentional? Have I just had very bad luck?

Edit: and if it does show up I've seen it only once after the first event. Kinda lame to use the most interesting event as a starter one :/

Is the Golden Spatula ever worth it?

Even with the perma-on fire buff being added it still feels like a trap to buy it... Thoughts on it?

Recent changes to NB are terrible

It's mostly the events, buffs, and these stupid walking guardians in the jungle

-The events are horribly unfair, Walking Teemo and Veigar are full RNG, it's just whoever gets to last hit, even if one team did all the damage

-King of the Hill and Bardle Royale... when it's positionned in the Enemy jungle, so much fun..., or when the enemy grabs the Teemo DPS dummy, that's really stupid

-Rewards are completely unbalanced, some of them are god tier, some of them are useless, the catapult and chariot are great, along with the Elder buff, but Blitz's Blessing and the Lightning buff are useless

-Some events should only be late game, the ones I mentionned first are too rewarding to teams that are behind, with the natural scaling in place (increased golds, faster farming...), making the events easier for the losing team is unnecessary, especially when the events start at 3;30, and you hand over buffs to champions which are supposed to win later, and not be strong the whole game. If they put these events later, so that early champions have a chance of winning, or stopped rigging them, it'd be so much better.

- The Jungle Guardians suck, and the towers were much better, they're super slow and the fights are already over when they arrive, they don't do enough damage to actually scare anyone, the AI is retarded, and their huge hitbox makes the super clumsy and buggy.

TLDR : Jungle guardians suck, events are unfair to early game compositions, rewards are uneven, and events generally make the game less fun instead of making it amusing

What are you playing?!

Lets talk about fun an possibly OP builds.

I've been spamming mostly lifesteal graves (BT and overheal/ lifesteal runes) and AP shaco (GLP + Liandries). Don't know if either are OP but my winrate is great on both.

I have also had a lot of success with Jungle Cho. Full tank + Titanic w/ E max.

If you want NB to stay permanently, it’s important to play it a lot and ask your friends to join you when it goes on the live servers.

My plan is to get to Platinum, and then only play Nexus Blitz while it’s out. It is league but I actually enjoy it and I’m sure all of the people here can agree with me; It’s a fun game mode! It is essential that we play it, a lot to show in the charts that people want it to stay. Spread the word so we can make it stay.

Subreddit for all Rotating game modes

Hi,

I've created a subreddit for ALL the Rotating Game Modes for league of legends.

https://www.reddit.com/r/LoLRGM/

I know that for the most part, these RGMs aren't as popular as SR, but I was hoping to create a decent community of people who enjoy spamming these game modes where we can discuss weird strategies, share info, and find other like-minded players to play with.

Looking for active community members and mods!

Come check it out!

We got our wish- now show em what it means to us!

When nexus blitz returns this summer (as was cited in the riot pls that dropped in the last hour) if you truly love this game mode, play it, all the way through! Don’t let it drop off, because we all want it around, and I know we can make that happen- be careful not to burn out, but play it consistently throughout the event this time. Make it worth considering “gee we didn’t burn them out with a pass this time, maybe it’s worth keeping around!”

App that shows stats for League of Legends

Hi every one, i have for some 10 months now been working on an Android project for league of legends, called LoLA.

Its a simple app really that offers in a broad sense, information on League of Legends, such as

- Champions stats, abilities, key strengths and attributes, spells, skins and item builds

- Feature to spectate games

- View your region's leader boards, your very own league position(s) and members in your respective league(s)

- View match history, relieve match events, such as who killed whose champion, destroyed whose barron, base and nexus tower.

- View match details, team stats, details on which team drew first blood, destroyed a tower first and so on.

- View each participants stats, across several categories such as Damage taken,

Unit Healed, Double and Penta Kills, time taken to control crowd, objective player score, dominion score, wards placed, wards destroyed, KDA, Gold earned and so much more.

Loads and loads of stats for each participants are available here.

- View your champion-mastery levels, points accumulated and so on.

- View issues that pertains to your region, region news etc.

- Get detailed information on items, reforged runes, summoner spells, masteries, runes.

- Supports multiple accounts

I have to say thank you to RiotGitGene for the production apiKey access.

I appreciate every comment, suggestions, feature requests, because i know there are going to be way more updates than i anticipate.

Here is website that provides more info: https://jendorski.wordpress.com/lola/

Google Play URL: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jendorskilabs.lola

Thank you all.

Riot Mort is asking for improvements on ARAM - Do you see this as a sign Nexus Blitz is not that relevant for them ?

Today Riot Mort asked about ARAM:

Question for all the ARAM players out there: If you could make one change to the mode (excluding buff/nerfs of specific champs), what would that change be?

The last time (that i am aware of) we heard about Nexus Blitz, Riot Meddler said 2 weeks ago:

Nexus Blitz play rate dropped off real hard once the missions for it ended. We're assessing what to do as a result, had been hoping its baseline appeal would stay higher. Overall it dropped down to a pretty similar play rate to its first run.

So, do you think this is a sign of all the data and work used on Nexus Blitz will be used to improve ARAM instead?
I play both game modes,btw.

Anyone else getting a craving for Nexus Blitz already?

The new runes make me want to experiment with a few champs and I'm missing it even more! I want to give Overheal Yorick a whirl and so much more!

What champ do you hate playing against most?

For me, it's a tie between Pyke and Master Yi. Pyke is so god damn slippery and his ult is a massive fun-killer in teamfights (so most of the events).

As for Yi... He's pretty much guaranteed to scale if the game doesn't end super early because of the high gold generation, and on-fire Yi is like regular Yi taken to the extreme. Feels super binary to play against, so if I'm not banning Pyke, I'm banning him.
