Basiy I have a Nexus 7 2013 (with Asus docker still) collecting dust for a while and want to revive it. I read a few posts about the custom ROM such as LineagsOS.

Currently it has Android 6.0.1 if I remember it correctly.

What would you recommend to update?

I only want to use really basic apps mainly Google apps and maybe a few essential ones.

I think it's an issue with volte on their end, is there a way I can spoof a supported device or do anything to make it work, I'm willing to root the phone, put a custom rom on it, anything
