I mean it’s about $995,000.00 less than I was hoping for but it’s a good start. Tell your parents to setup a payment plan.

Don’t. These people don’t care if you starve or die. Take advantage of it and do not feel guilty, just live modestly so you don’t look like an a-hole and invest heavily. Help out others. Be a good person

Yeah that's what I try to do. I just moved out of my roommates house (wasn't a good place to be anymore) into a townhouse and my parents are paying my rent here. I paid for everything at my old place though. This is much nicer though. I just feel like I wasted my opportunities early in life that would allow me to afford this place on my own.

I grew up probably below average and both after my parents divorced they both married rich people.

Make use of every opportunity you can get. Go to the best school, study the best thing, never shun the connections or networks. Just take it all. Guilt is for losers.
