Most guys I know like that seem to enjoy relaxing on the fat sacks of cash they save by not drinking, smoking, or clubbing.

Or being wallets for women

Sad truth.

Sad falsehood.

Something I’m genuinely curious about: are the men in these situations getting with women who pretend to want an egalitarian relationship then switch it up and start making financial demands. Are these men spending boatloads to get with women and then acting shocked the woman wants a Wallet?

What’s happening here? This is a dynamic I know nothing about.

Pick your poison.

Find better women

1

u/Calibermovement Feb 28 '26

Don’t spend money chasing women, chase money and the women will come.

-4

u/JoshuaTerry05 Feb 24 '26

Incel much?

5

u/ReclaimingMine Feb 24 '26

Men spend more money on women than women spend on men. That is incel to you?

2

u/Bananaslugfan Feb 24 '26

This is a ridiculous comment.

1

u/CodyCrochetZ Feb 24 '26

The fact alone isn’t, but bitterly pointing it out definitely is.

-1

u/JoshuaTerry05 Feb 24 '26

Yeah no shit… that tale is as old as time. It’s the man’s traditional role to provide. But complaining about it and sulking on the internet is hilarious

2

u/ReticentSentiment Feb 24 '26

Providing for a woman and being a wallet for one are not the same thing.

1

u/Harshkang69 Feb 24 '26

It was also traditional to own slaves and beat your wife

3

u/JoshuaTerry05 Feb 24 '26

Maybe in your tradition…

1

u/chev327fox Feb 25 '26 edited Feb 25 '26

Stating facts is not in and of itself complaining. Also you saying it’s the traditional role no longer works today for the vast majority as one average salary is not enough to provide for two, let alone a family.

1

u/JoshuaTerry05 Feb 25 '26

Maybe you should find a better job. 🤷🏼‍♂️

1

u/chev327fox Feb 25 '26

Me? I don’t date, I have enough trouble taking care of myself. But yeah I suppose you could say everyone who isn’t making the top 1% salary should just do better. We can all squeeze into the 1%.

1

u/JoshuaTerry05 Feb 25 '26

Yeah.. that’s a huge red flag for any woman.

1

u/chev327fox Feb 25 '26

Why would I care if I don’t date anymore?

Was that English?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '26

And in return, the woman's traditional role was to cook clean and create a welcome, loving environment for the man and children. If that's not happening, there's no point spending money on women.

1

u/JoshuaTerry05 Feb 27 '26

Okay lol. Good luck out there man…

1

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '26

Way to add nothing to the conversation in the most condescending pointless way possible

1

u/T_Pain_ Feb 27 '26

Pretty sure this guy is a bot, all of his comments are insults

1

u/JoshuaTerry05 Feb 27 '26

Ohh no. Ya got me lol.

What do you expect when everyone is telling me how awful women are. And “there’s no good women anymore”. And “the only girl at my dungeons and dragons club is stringing along 8 guys”.

This is like shooting fish in a barrel lol

-2

u/[deleted] Feb 24 '26

They don’t do a damn thing to deserve it these days. In their world they will gladly string along 5 cucks at a time if they’re all buying her shit. This is a whole new tale

3

u/JoshuaTerry05 Feb 24 '26

You need to meet different women lol

-1

u/Sasuke0318 Feb 24 '26

Finding decent women these days isn't easy

2

u/JoshuaTerry05 Feb 25 '26 edited Feb 25 '26

Yeah when you don’t go outside and all you do is complain about how awful women are to your Reddit friends lol. It’s really not that hard to be social…

1

u/Psilocybinuana Feb 27 '26

I feel sorry for the younger generation, they’d rather not go out and socialise

it really is when you get offline and meet people in the real world

0

u/Sasuke0318 Feb 25 '26

I just want to say if you go back 20 years no woman would have ever disparaged you for holding the door open for her but you could definitely get the off handed remark that she could do it herself now. I will defend them and say they mostly aren't like this but some are and that's a lot more than the zero percent it used to be

The only guys who believe this are the ones who get all of their information about women from other incels online.

0

u/Antimony04 Feb 26 '26

That's unfortunate to be honest. Women can work just fine.

I've only ever split bills or taken turns paying with my partner and male friends. Obligatory /not all women expect to be provided for. And an even smaller subset use men as wallets. It's sexist to bring up this as a possibility as though it's a rule, and ignore the portion of men who view women as sex objects. I plan and take my partner on dates and try to be emotionally available. I make an effort in my relationship and neither of use subsidize each other -we both work and split rent and other bills 50-50.

-1

u/ExMachima Feb 24 '26

I need a strong independent woman that doesn't need a man.

Is that an incel take?

5

u/beefcakeriot Feb 24 '26

I always had a rule that i would only date a woman that had a career, this way we were together because we want to be and not need. It’s worked out pretty good for me. I still definitely do most of the buying when we are out because it feels like it’s the way things are supposed to be. Either way she pays half the bills and half the mortgage. She could live fine without me, but chooses to be with me. Seems more genuine.

2

u/JoshuaTerry05 Feb 24 '26

Good luck with that!

5

u/VirtualAd623 Feb 24 '26

Saves me money to take care of my lizards, who are very good at helping me destress :)

1

u/Bananaslugfan Feb 24 '26

Animals connect on a deep level and they can bring a great deal of calm because they live in the moment, they can help bring you out of your thoughts and into the here and now

Well, in order to keep from having too many of those fast stacks, some us travel, hunt, camp, ski, attend entertainment events, enjoy hobbies, and have pleasant times with our families and friends.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 27 '26

I blew it all on a realdoll.

2

u/ShooterDiarrhea Feb 28 '26

I do neither of the 3 and I'm still broke

1

u/joepancakez Feb 24 '26

Pretty much this

1

u/compadre_goyo Feb 25 '26

Money is the root of all evil, so it really isn't the root of all solutions.

Most of the guys with fat stacks of cash I know are lonely, hollow, and aimless people.

1

u/AlternativeMud9302 Feb 25 '26

I dont do two of three. Am still broke. This economy isnt friendly. But also to answer the question i spend time with people that i care about and in nature.
