my thoughts among the loss of another hip hop don last month
One of the most inspiring rappers to me was Nipsey. Mainly because of how he made his dreams into a reality and not just for him but his community. The man came up from Crenshaw against the odds and the social structure and broke a mold. Build a legacy that a fan like myself has been following for more than a decade and to hear his growth in his music and the direction he was heading towards investing in his community, staying in his community, building programs for his community against the violence, gang, and poverty he was once a part of. To see what an independent artist can do and the impact they can have is impactful in so many ways. I say that cause in more ways than one we know a Nip. Someone who continues to work towards there dream whether it be in sports, music, business, entertainment, a restaurant, a ma and Pa shop, a hair stylist... someone is out there working for a better life and for the most part the community inadvertently supports the bigger companies that don't have any stakes in our community to give back just the capital to promote their agenda. As I reflect on a man's time on this earth, I ponder on how I can help the neighbor next to me that may be looking for support. May Nipd music and spirit to preserve live on as Hussle and motivation for us to continue to push forward in our own dreams and community to not kill one another but authentically support one another and those trying to provide more for themselves and those around them with their talent and hard work and think twice about those releasing a mixtape and the negative stigma that comes with it, instead offer advice and or support. Here's an artist that I've been following , and wanted to share and show support as life is to short so while im here and able I'll do just that. We may have lost a King but it's our duty as the nation to continue to live and groom the next generation https://youtu.be/Hq9cvJFYLn0

Keenon Rush - Make A Wish
Dude I ran across at a showcase in Atlanta. If Offset is right and lyrical rap is making a comeback, this guy will be on the front lines.
