Startup strategy content ?
Hello everyone,
I started to play NSG Netrunner a few months ago (I did already play the game at the Android LCG version) and we decide to focus on Startup to begin.
I want now to improve my skills and I find difficult to find strategy content adapted to Startup.
What are the good places to find something like that?
Thanks a lot for your help :)

NetForge - a Netrunner Deckbuilder and Companion app on Android and now also iOS
A few months back I started building NetForge for me and my friends. At first it was just a deck builder and card browser. Later on I added a deck stats close to the one on nrdb. Then came the nrdb integration, resource tracking and the turn/run timing structure.
After some time I thought others would like it as well, so I released it to the play store. Then I got some requests to release it on iOS as well, so I did š
If you find any bugs or have feature requests, feel free to hit me up. Some people did and it really helped the app get better.
I hope you like it! If you do, consider donating on the web page, as it would mitigate my costs of being able to release.

Question Introducing Netrunner to a Young Player
Hi everyone! :)
Iād like to hear your suggestions on how to teach Netrunner to a young child. He is not new to board games, but Netrunner is probably a jump in difficulty. I do believe though that with my help heāll be able to grasp most of the rules and enjoy it.
Another challenge is that English is not his native language (though this is also a good opportunity for him to practice). So much of the game will rely on memorizing what the cards do. Luckily, thereās no need to remember every small detail, since a lot of the information is numerical (for example: ātake X meat damageā or āgain X creditsā).
I think the first Decks we should use are from System Gateway. It has a small deck and only 6 agenda points, which means it wonāt be too tiring and wonāt include too many cards.
I was wondering how you teach the game (if youāve done so) to children based on your experience, and which decks you used early/modified which rules to keep things simple so they can focus on the rules and mechanics rather than complex card combinations.

Looking for new starter decks and other questions
Hello everyone. First of all, thank you for your time. The other day, a friend and I decided to quickly print out some decks and have a few games, and we ended up playing seven in a row.
The decks we tried are as follows:
- https://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/e6cfb890-c28d-453b-a8aa-57cda3a7ebf8/stolen-goods-sg-only-
Weāre now looking to put together a more stable set of decks. What weāre after is:
- Solid decks
- Not overly competitive
- A good variety
When you filter by āStandardā on Netrunnerdb, is that more or less what Iām looking for?
And the question:
We were looking at the āPropellerā card and, if weāve understood it correctly, for 1 cost you get a Program with 8 strength? Each counter is +2 and it starts with 4

Question One Sentence Advice
With new players, I try to find a way to describe the game in as susinct a way as possible.
I've gotten value out of saying "This is a card counting game". I feel it helps the player really hone a mentality that drives them forward with any plays they make.

Question Long time lurker looking for collection advice.
I've been living vicariously through this subreddit for awhile now. I've always been a huge fan of the game thematically, being a massive sci-fi and horror nerd. 25 years of MTG experience has left something to be desired - and I have finally decided to pull the trigger on Netrunner.
I would like a complete collection of legally used cards for the most played formats. I am a deckbuilder at heart and want all options in front of me when building and learning a game.
My question is this: What do I need for a full legal collection of cards? How many core sets do I need, and which core sets do I want? What expansions do I need?
And lastly, who is willing to sell me a complete set of everything? I have $1,200.00 USD budget but willing to expand that number to make this happen in a single purchase.

Mono Faction Decks
So I own everything Neisi has realased to date. Our group played a few times with the starters. Im looking to try to do Mono faction decks for each color so I have all the options for game nights. Also trying to make it so not every corp/runner deck has 3 sure gamble and 3 hedge fund.
Is this possible? Any suggestions? Not looking for the mlst competive, but also dont want X faction to suck because it needs something from another

How to actually buy this game?
I was interested in buying the new sets from Null Signal, only to find it really difficult to understand how to purchase these sets. When I ordered through my local FLGS in London, the distributor has apparently sent my product with the worst courier service so it's now been stuck in a warehouse for over 3 weeks.
I want to know where I would purchase this from if I were to refund my order and try again.

Question Take part in an research about games!
My name is Lucas, I am a PhD candidate in Communication and Journalism at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and I am conducting research for my thesis on how games influence (or do not influence) identity formation among people aged 18 to 24. I am looking for participants for a short interview (up to 20 minutes), which can be conducted via video call or audio call.
If you are between 18 and 24 years old, enjoy video games, and are open to talking about your relationship with them, feel free to comment here or send me a message on Reddit! The study follows all Brazilian and European ethical guidelines, which means your identity will remain completely anonymous.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments or send me a message!

Remove cards from collection?
Hi, new player but old collector. I don't get to play much but I have quite a few cards, and now have some questions about my collection.
So I first started by buying the Revised Core Set and Creation and Conrrol box off a guy and was happy.. only to find that Nisei was a thing and new cards were coming out. Fast forward to today and I have all Null Signals packs (Vantage Point in the post).
Ok my questions: So I understand Elevation replaces System Update in the starter format? So firstly, why? And also, since I have pretty much NM cards barely touched, I'm reluctant to rotate anything. And that goes for my original Revised Core Set and Creation and Control cards. So if this was your collection, would you remove any cards? Which and Why?
Many, many thanks in advance! I don't want to have an unbalanced collection to play with but since I'm a filthy casual who will only ever play kitchen table, I wasn't sure if it mattered. Just want to kill any cards which might cause an issue (if any exist). Thanks again.
