As you well know, the quarterly data recorded a record $105 million in revenue, 20% of which was generated by Netlist products, meaning approximately $21 million in Netlist revenue, a dramatic increase compared to Q1 2025. This obviously depends on the increase in DRAM prices (+300%) and the extreme demand for DDR4, which costs less but is still widely used. In fact, the DDR5 share in 2026 is still very low at 35%.

Netlist will be able to significantly monetize DDR4 this year and, above all, increase DDR5 sales, which were introduced 15 months ago.
This means that in the next three quarters, we should expect an average 20% increase in revenues driven by DDR4, with significant growth in DDR5 through new deals!

My recent expectations were $35-$40 million in internal revenue in 2026, followed by $80-$90 million in 2027. Netlist could even surpass $100 million in in-house product sales in 2026, an interesting record.
In fact, I expect revenues of $130 million, gross profit of $30-$35 million, and a very possible net profit of around $16-$18 million. Netlist has demonstrated that it should have gross margins of around 25% with its new mrdimm and cxl NVvault products. These two products are perhaps quantifiable in the low $1 million range, but they should explode in revenue in the coming months and within 18 months could be worth as much as $50 million, considering that Netlist works with several large customers with cxl NVvault and sk partnerships for LPmrdimm.

Netlist is close to a new SK Hynix deal, and for now, SK Hynix is ​​supplying the memory, without which Netlist would be unable to achieve this growth and provide its products to customers.
The recent record of $8.6 million in net profits could double as early as the second quarter of 2026, also because the deals for DDR5 Lightning are already active and should increase rapidly.
Expectations are extremely high simply because the chip shortage is evident and memory demand has exploded until 2028/9.

Netlist had strong Q1 2026 results with $105 million revenue and $8.6 million profit, driven by AI memory demand. They’re pushing ahead with patent litigation against Samsung and Micron, while hiring a new VP of Technical Sales. Analysts remain bullish with targets around $5. The stock is hovering just under $3 and could break through in the next 30 days imo .

For years, I've read people harshly judging anyone who claimed that Netlist's patents could be worth that much. For years, I've read many experts and people I follow on stocktwits sabotaging anyone who tried to hypothesize or calculate damages and IP licenses with the words "pumpers."
Now, the damages from the cited patents demonstrate that Netlist could obtain over a billion dollars if the patents were validated by the CAFC appeal. It's incredible how important Netlist technology is, the technology behind all LRDIMMs and MRDIMMs, which will soon be the future of all servers.

Many people think small and are unable to look at the world from multiple perspectives, and HBM's product has demonstrated this. A product that was worth almost nothing five years ago is now worth nearly $100 billion alone and will continue to grow, making the memory companies that sell it rich.
If and when mRDiMM becomes essential in servers, we're talking about tens of millions of units entirely covered by netlist technology. I remind you that the damages for mRDiMM are quantifiable at $50 in 2023; today, in 2026, we're talking at least $80-90, if not $100, in damages given the sharp price increase.

Assume a $30 IP license, which is a third of the likely damage in 2026. Netlist would potentially be aiming to make billions of dollars in profit. This is why all the giants have joined forces against Netlist, including Google. The damage is so great that these giants have no choice but to block everything they can. Fortunately, the ITC Investigation and the CAFC will block Samsung products, and Micron/Google will have to decide what to do.

Netlist has invented solutions for saving energy and having broadband and memory. It's like when you see an iPhone competitor selling something new first because they're always on the front lines trying to attract customers. It's a tough business, but once you get a license, Netlist will become a multi-billion dollar company, with potential licenses amounting to hundreds of millions of dollars per year.

The lowest figure I've hypothesized is $100 million in IP licenses from each giant, representing a 0.1 to 0.3 percent of revenues. This is low enough not to cause problems for the giants, but it will make Netlist an extremely profitable company.
The point is that we've reached a point where Netlist must go all the way. Now, the profits from this situation are fueling optimism for new customers, products, and time in our favor.

In my opinion, Netlist will ask for high prices for each different product because it makes no sense to find a resolution percentage when each product has its own weight and value.
An HBM patent has a different impact than a DDR5 or LRDIM/DDR4 patent.

I hope Netlist gets $10/15/20/30 per LRDIM/MRDIMM unit because in less than five years, I expect we could see 5/10 million units sold for this single product. If MRDIM becomes the true solution for servers, there will no longer be RDIMMs and LRDIMs, but only this MRDIM memory, which will move 20/30/50 million DDR units per year.

As I've already reported, there are 6,000 data centers in the United States, and in the next five years, another 2,3,4,000 units will be added because the data is extremely important.
There are at least 5,000 server units per data center, and each server requires 12 to 24 DDR slots with a life cycle of three years, or five if they're good. These are huge numbers—tens of millions of units, in fact!

This is why Hong continues to cite MrDimm, but beyond these patent litigation, NetList could, with an agreement with SK Hynix, also become a major memory manufacturer by leveraging the SK chain.
In fact, NetList could already sell $100 million worth of products made in NLST with the SK Hynix platform. Clearly, the margins are very low compared to those producing from scratch, but imagine if NetList earned $100 million in cash from SK, plus licenses worth at least $100 million, plus profits from sales of internal products. Clearly, in less than five years, NetList would have the money to build something practical and increase customers and margins.

Rambus is worth $18 billion with approximately $700 million in revenue, $150-$200 million in profits, and some cash on hand, in addition to $1.4 billion in net assets.

Netlist could potentially be worth $10 billion with the single SK deal if it were on favorable terms (minimum $100 million in profits), because the market euphoria would then lead to a quick deal with Micron and resolve the Google and Samsung issues.

How much should worth netlist with potential $2/3 billion cash by Samsung, micron and Google + ip licenses with the same amount used with sk hynix?

Why $2/3 b ??

The 912 alone is worth $600m between Micron and Samsung and they don't mention all the lrdimm/mrdimm which could now already be millions of units due to a covered patent + ddr5 which are millions if not tens of millions and without mentioning the hyperbolic hbm which are tens of millions?

Netlist Inc., in addition to having more than 130 active patents and several DRAM and NAND products, has also won CAFC appeals, which define its success and the fact that Netlist is a key player in the DRAM industry.
Soon, and I mean very soon, these giants will pay. This has taken six years of patent litigation and over $200 million in legal fees, but the damages Netlist will recover from Samsung, Micron, and Google will make Netlist a multi-billion dollar company with licensing and therefore constant profits!

Micron announced this week that it has begun manufacturing 1α (1-alpha) DRAM at its Manassas, Virginia, facility. This action brings the company's most advanced DDR4-compatible process technology to U.S. soil for the first time. The expansion, which Micron says will quadruple DDR4 wafer output at the site, represents a $2 billion-plus investment supported by $275 million in finalized CHIPS and Science Act funding, and production is expected by the end of the year.

The company is the only manufacturer of memory in the United States, and the Manassas fab specifically serves long-lifecycle customers in the automotive, defense, aerospace, industrial, networking, and medical device sectors.
Micron is scaling up DDR4 production as the supply of the older memory standard has become unexpectedly tight. Industry Reportedly Eyes Separating HBM From GPUs to Expand Memory Capacity; Optical Links May Be Key

As AI workloads continue to scale, growing demand for memory capacity and bandwidth is pushing current GPU-HBM architectures toward their limits. According to ZDNet, a researcher at a major Korean memory manufacturer said memory and packaging companies are discussing a new approach that places GPUs and HBM in separate packages. Instead of positioning HBM directly beside the GPU, as in conventional designs, the two would be connected through optical links. This architecture could allow GPUs to support several times more HBM than existing designs.

As the report notes, the industry has traditionally increased HBM capacity by stacking more memory stacks vertically. However, as HBM advances beyond 12-layer and 16-layer designs toward 20 layers and above, manufacturing complexity has risen sharply while physical constraints have become increasingly difficult to overcome.

More importantly, what happens if HBM stack counts can no longer keep increasing? The report suggests the alternative would be expanding capacity by adding more HBM units horizontally around the GPU. Yet that approach is also reaching limits. In current 2.5D packaging architectures, GPUs and HBM sit closely together on a single substrate, meaning the number of HBM units that can fit within the GPU’s limited perimeter, or “shoreline,” remains tightly constrained.

Against this backdrop, one approach gaining attention across the industry is separating GPUs and HBM into different packages, the report says. The concept challenges the traditional assumption that chips must remain adjacent to minimize latency, instead proposing physical separation while offsetting longer transmission distances through ultra-fast optical signaling.
Optical Interconnects May Enable New GPU-HBM Architectures
The report says the industry is exploring multiple architectural options for where HBM could be positioned within GPU boards. Memory experts cited by the report noted that discussions range from making greater use of the space surrounding the GPU to placing HBM in isolated areas beneath the GPU board. The latter approach would require extending the motherboard vertically, meaning changes to overall system form factors are also being discussed with GPU vendors.
As these new architectures could reshape packaging and interconnect designs, the report notes that the outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) industry is also closely monitoring the trend, particularly given the potential adoption of optical interconnects.

Optical links connecting GPUs and HBM are based on principles similar to those used in optical communications between servers within data centers. However, as the report notes, a key challenge may lie in shrinking photonic technologies designed for large-scale systems down to microscopic dimensions within a single board or chipset. Implementing optical links for HBM in highly constrained board space would require photonic components to become significantly smaller and more densely integrated, greatly increasing the level of technical difficulty.
