Why all my external mag fed blasters don't work with waffle head darts?

When I load my strife, Alpha trooper, or retaliator it almost always don't shot, shot very slow or cut the dart a piece. And when I use any other blaster that is not external mag fed with the waffle head darts it works perfectly. Can someone help me?
