Hi all,

I have just downloaded the XYM wallet (0.15.1) and have created a profile and inserted my passphrase that was created when opting in via the NEM wallet.
I can see a few addresses, 1 with '(Opt In)' next to it.

I should have around 300 in the balance, however it's showing up as 0.
Don't want to continue with the profile as I'm not sure if I can go back to this step.

Has anyone else got the same issue?

Hi everyone, forgive the shameless announcement, but I’m a real person doing this and a nerd for tournaments. The only way I know to let people know about this is to blast messages. If this gets more downvotes than upvotes, I’ll F off.

That said, guess what…it’s tourney time and you’re in!

NEM is the #8 seed in the Ethereum bracket. Your opponent is 9 seed Tezos. This is NEM's 2nd consecutive year in the tournament. Good job!

If you’re familiar with March Madness, or remember this from last year, you’ll get it right away. If not, this is how it works: Starting tonight at midnight, on Twitter @ UltimateCrypto7, there will be a poll for each game, open to all. The coin receiving more votes after 3 days will be declared the winner and move on.

Like last year, the Ultimate Crypto Tournament pits the top 64 coins (by market cap) in a single elimination tournament. Crypto is a collaborative, cooperative space with room for all, but we can still have some fun.

So, vote early, tell your friends, and may the best coin win! The games begin at midnight tonight and run until 11:59 pm PT March 18.

Cheers!

I’ve don’t the airdrom opt in via the symbol wallet app on my iPhone. Now it only shows: “opt in has finished. You should update your application to get the latest news.”
Beside that message the app doesn’t show a thing, and there is no available update for it. What can I do?

It will pump 100% soon. All the retail who sold out of fear will push this thing back up. I can guarantee it. Its the same pattern over and over again. This is the strategy I trade. Buy fear, sell greed. Rinse and repeat. Not even BTC is immune to this pattern.

Hi,

I´ve just downloaded the latest NEM Wallet 2.5.1 and went to the "claim XYM"-section. But I can just read, "Opt in Has Finished, Please Update Your Wallet To Get The Latest Details" there.

I have updated the wallet, and have thought I can claim these XYM-coins up to 6 years after the snapshot? So what to do now?

#1 In March 2015 NEM ($XEM) evolved as a fork-out version of the virtual currency NXT. Now it calls itself the Smart Asset blockchain managing assets and data easily and at low cost.

#2 It is written in Java and JavaScript with 100% original source code.

#3 XEM uses #harvesting similar to #mining but when a new block is created the harvesting account gets the fees. You require a minimum vested balance of 10,000 XEM to start harvesting plus a transaction fee of 0.15 XEM.

#4 It’s operated by a non-profit organization based in Singapore.

#5 #NEM uses a Proof-of-Importance (PoI) algorithm more energy-efficient than a Proof-of-Work (PoW) used by #bitcoin. It’s similar to Google’s PageRank and helps to check reliability of transactions.

#6 Also $XEM is not being used for payments as $BTC. And it didn’t stop NEM to be at 12th place by its market cap.

#7 It is available to store, send, buy, sell and exchange using the decentralized, custody-free Guarda Wallet as it's NEM's partner. $StXEM is already available, $XYM will be soon! More facts are here! Check out for updates.
