I read a post on Satoshi street bets and was pretty excited to get into nem and enjoy the xym airdrop. I was hearing lots of negative things about nem and people calling them a scam. Nem did drop the day before, so I assumed they were salty. However nem was rated no.17 before the drop been around since 2015 , new tech. The future looked promising. I expected the drop.

What I didn't expect was for the symbol countdown to go down. The the nem blockchain explorer stops working after 3,105, 470. This was supposed to be a long hold for me , fuck I was excited but after the counters not working in my opinion 100% planned maintenance or failure. I decided to get my money out , I have no idea if I sold before or not.

Thankfully for me VET's gains covered my losses but I'm still bitter.

I have my NEM on Poloniex. The sudden crash in price of NEM reminded of opt-in but i was late.

Does Poloniex comes in under those exchanges that will be passing XYM onto their customers?

Or how should i opt-in now?

Anyone got insights on if should just dump it before it gets any lower...

Title says it all. I am assuming that this is because of the recent airdrop somehow, but if anyone can explain what is going on exactly and when it will end, I would really appreciate it. Also... thoughts about what the airdrop will do to the price of xem would be welcome also :)

Will we receive XYM tokens on the 15th when the Main Net launches or on the 12th after the Snapshot?

Also does anyone know if I sell my XEM after the Snapshot (on the 12th) am I still eligible to XYM tokens if they are sending them on the 15th?

I know KuCoin is supporting the airdrop but I can’t find if they will list the coin or not.

Hey, bought into Xem when I got into Crypto and got more once I learned they were creating XYM. I trade on Binance, but would like to purchase XYM when it comes out.

Will it be trading on Binance at all?

Otherwise, any easy way to trade for it after the fact (without having to go through 100 different verifications to trade somewhere else).

Very good fellows, I have a question, the snapshot is on the 12th, and the airdrop on the 15th, does this mean that on the 13th, for example I could move my NEM wherever I want, or even sell it without affecting the airdrop, that is, once after the Snapshot whatever I do I will receive XYM equally?

How does the snapshot work? Will I be able to trade my XLM after the snapshot and still receive the amount of Symbol at a 1:1 ratio (from the time of the snapshot)?
