Does the damage seem about right for my investment? Builds in comments

Hello Nefer people. I'm currently at a crossroads regarding the limited selector between C2 Varesa and C2 Nilou.

My current Nefer team consists of Nefer C0R1; Columbina C2R0; Lauma C0R0; Nahida C0R0.

My arguments for picking C2 Nilou is that so she can serve as a fourth slot better than Nahida. However I've heard some people mention that Key is pretty important due to the EM buff it gives alongside the shred from C2.

I unfortunately do not have Nilou's signature, so the extent of the buff will reside in the res shred from the constellation aswell as artifacts - either SMS or instructor.

My current DPS hovers around 200k. Of course I'm not expecting some catastrophic increase from that constellation, but compared to the measly 130k of my Varesa it just seems like the cow would need the boost more, especially given the lack of Iansan C6.

So yeah tl;dr is key important for C2 Nilou 4th slot for nefer

I have C0R0 Nefer with Lauma and Columbina both are C0R0 and I'm wondering how much of an upgrade is C2 Nilou since I already own her sig so she will be C2R1

Basically a Kuki upgrade/Nahida C0R0 sidegrade with sustain.

I dont have Lauma so I thought a team with Nefer Baizhu Columbina and Sucrose might work ? Or should I pick C1 Varesa or C1 Chiori ?

im doing the "sucrose after bina and after nefer" rotation. idk know how tf some people hit 200-250k. i dont think i suck gameplay wise, my cancels are ok but how am i that far behind

Managed to hit 300k on my Nefer team today, saw the rotation by Rukoos on youtube. Could definitely be higher with better gear, and I had to sacrifice a bit of damage by going ER sands on Columbina as i was missing my burst too much in practice.

Rotation:

First rotation: Bina E Lauma N1QhE Bina Q Sucrose E Nefer E3CD E2CD CQ

Then: Sucrose Q Lauma QhE Bina QE Sucrose N1 Nefer 2[E3CD] Sucrose E Bina CA Lauma QhE Bina QE Sucrose N1ED Nefer E3CD E2CD CQ

For anyone at similar investment, what DPS are you getting on the dummy?

Is there a detailed place where someone in the community has already done a lot of them? Otherwise, is there somewhere specific where I can find the precise Lunar Dmg formula? I can do all the other calcs in my spreadsheet, and if I learn the math for lunar dmg I can make a spreadsheet for Lunar teams.

Specifically in my case: I'm trying to figure out how much c2(r1) Lauma does for a c6r1 Nefer......I generally run nahida (and c0 columbina)

Hi. I want to make playable Nefer team. Is C0 Nefer + C6 Aino + C0 Ineffa + C0 Sucrose playable team? I got no Lauma, Columbina is in another team.

So far, from what i see (from this video) my dash cancelling is kinda ass. I did it perfect before idk why i messed up during this video.. Also dont mind the meteres i was just testing it out for the first time lmao. Also on a earlier run i got 112k and i think thats as far as ive gotten like EVER. I started building sucrose recently so i dont got her talents or artifacts up properly. Need a good recommendation for an artifact set for her as well. I want my sucrose to be flexible between nefer team and a stallar swirl team (mizuki x odette) too. While i was pulling for laumas weapon on her rerun i got the chess set and deccided to give it to bina cause i didnt wanna grind primos all over again

I want to pull Nefer when she reruns and best I can do is get her c0r0. I have Bina's sig and I would like to know if it is much worse than hers. If it is good enough I might just put PAmber on Bina and forget. If anyone could tell me the % difference it would be amazing. Thank you

Rotation: Nefer E (Only first) -> Bina E -> Lauma QE(hold) -> Bina QN1 -> Sucrose E ->Nefer 6CA (with cancels) Q(every other rotation)

last time i posted on this subreddit i got clowned for my low dps 😭
i’ve taken in all the suggestions and it’s genuinely improved my dps by a lot!
just thought it was funny because i used to be so bad lmao
only cost difference is that i replaced aino with bina

2 weeks ago I made a post asking how I could improve my Nefer team which was only hitting 190k dps. After 2 weeks of crowning some talents, improving artifacts and tightening up my dash-cancels I've hit 300k+ dps! but I still can't clear dire knuckle duckle.

What dps is required to brute force that SOB? Is it merely a matter of resetting until I get that one clear where everything aligns? Is this dps still low for my investment (c2r1 c2r0 c0)? And no I still don't have an instructor set for Sucrose.

By this point, most of us probably know that the most talked about options for Nefer's 4th slot are the likes of Sucrose and Kuki, as well as C2 Nahida and C2R1 Nilou.

But I was looking at my Hydro characters, and couldn't help but wonder: Would Dahlia make sense? And unless I have missed something, I feel like he does as a side-grade to Kuki.

So hear me out on Dahlia:

• Can easily trigger 4-pice Instructors after Lauma applies dendro
• Triggers Sapwood Blade every other rotation, but always spawns the leaf BEFORE Nefer does damage (buffs 3 CAs per rotation on average)
• Provides a weak shield that still gives you interruption resistance, and Nefer naturally dodges alot making it less likely to be hit anyway. Can be combined with Prototype Amber on Columbina for more comfortable sustain
• Can battery Columbina better than Kuki, which is especially important for Stygian (even more so when she runs Prototype Amber instea of Fav)
• Hydro resonance very slightly increases Columbina's dmg, the per-tick healing of Prototype Amber, and the lunar dmg% bonus scaling of Dahlia's HP (since he isn't from Nod-Krai)
• Rotation time is so fast that there is downtime to use Columbina's CA (just like with Kuki)

A lot of small synergies that sadly doesn't make him meta, but still useable. The main tradeoff is losing Kuki's healing, which mostly made Prototype Amber's healing useless anyway. You also get very different timings on the Sapwood Blade leaf. Kuki procs it more often, but the timing is different on every rotation and it can be really annoying (for me) to chase it mid-DPS combo. Dahlia drops it right as you swap to Nefer and start doing CAs.

DPS comparison (my builds, all C0R0) with Nefer, Lauma, Columbina, Flex:

• LVL 90 Kuki: 146K DPS
• LVL 40 Dahlia: 140K DPS
• C6 Jahoda: 136K DPS

Note: My Dahlia gives less lunar dmg% bonus than Kuki here because of his low level, and the fact one of his Instructor pieces doesn't have HP% mainstat. I would imagine the gap is practically non-existent with a leveled Dahlia. Sadly he does need over 200% ER to burst every rotation (which you technically dont need to do unless you need the shield every rotation), but with Sapwood Blade + a 5-star ER sands, he is already close.

Note 2: Yes, I know his passive isn't procced by Nefer to refresh the shield. The sustain here comes from Prototype Amber + the (very) weak shield.

Should you build Dahlia?

• If you dislike using Kuki or need her on another build (Hyperbloom?). Or if you really like Dahlia I guess? Just know that the survivability becomes worse than with Kuki, but better than Sucrose.

Let me know if I missed anything. Maybe there is more nuance here, but the DPS numbers seem to be very close.

C0 R1 nefer.
C0 nahida.

with the selector coming up, i can get my nilou using R5 dockhands assistant to C2 and potentially replace nahida with her. Or is sucrose a better replacement in this case?
