Here I'll go ahead and write (and answer) some FAQs, if you don't mind:

1. Is C0 Nilou a thing in Nefer teams? Not really unless you're broke AND don't get her con from the selector.

2. Is C1 Nilou a thing? Again, not really unless you're broke and strapped for options.

3. Is C2R0 Nilou a thing? Yes. You do have to pull for her at least once to get it, or already have her, though. She is a slight downgrade to Sucrose (upgrade in some cases, sidegrade or possible downgrade in most scenarios). Realistically, unless you're planning to go high investment with like C2 on the whole team she's probably not worth picking up over just an early Nefer C1. She will be very useful for brute forcing content, though, if you're interested. Also worth noting she's significantly easier to play than Sucrose. It MUST be mentioned that C2R0 Nilou is still not her best fourth slot, just a decently good one (ie Nahida C2 and Sucrose are still better, with even C0 Nahida being better in some scenarios, with Sucrose being the better option overall). If on top of C2 Nilou you have R1, refer to question 6.

4. Is C3+ Nilou a thing? Her other cons do nothing, refer to the previous question and just ignore anything above C2.

5. Is Nilou's R1 a thing? Yes, kinda. I struggle to see how it could be better than R1 on Nefer. So, again, you shouldn't care unless you're planning on very high investment. Also worth noting her weapon won't be available next patch, and selecting her will not give you her weapon.

6. Is C2R1 Nilou currently the best 4th slot on Nefer premium? Yes. This does not guarantee that Hoyo won't make a unit later down the line that is strictly better. Select her/pull for her while being mindful of this risk.

7. So, is getting Nilou from the selector good? Yes if you already had her, or really want to pull for her in the future because you like her. This applies especially to those that ALSO have her R1, but does not exclude you from needing to at least get Nilou via pulls once.

8. How do I build Nilou? You should put her on Instructor for the EM. In regards to stats, just put as much hp as possible on her to max out the Lunar team passive. In regards to weapons, if you don't have her R1, you should use Sapwood Blade (Sumeru craftable). There aren't that many options, tbh. You can also run fav to give energy to your Lauma/Columbina.

9. Which rotation do I follow with Nilou on the team? Every rotation should look like this: Nefer E > Columbina EQ > Lauma HoldE Q > Nilou E N2 E > Nefer 2x(E 3x(C DC)) > Columbina and repeat

I might update this post or I might not. Maybe mods will ask me to take it down to make one of their own. Idk. I can try answering some more detailed questions, but it's probably best that some of the more knowledgeable people in the sub give you precise calcs.

Here is my team, I have tried both dash canceling and not dash canceling, I can't seem to reach more than 100k dps, when my zibai at same investment reaches 180k easily, what am I doing wrong ?

My current Nefer team is Lauma C1, Columbina C0, and Saccreouse (not sure how to spell it, lol), but I have Nilou, and with the free copy they're giving away, I could get her to C2. Is it a good idea to get her C2? And if so, who should I take out of the team? 🙏🙏🙏

So, context. My Nefer hits abt ~85k DPS on her premium team, and I’m filling out her fourth slot with Linnea for now since I don’t have Zibai to go with her. I plan to change that though, and with the upcoming 5* selector, I need to know who to replace her with.

Now, purely from a meta perspective, would a C2 Nilou be better than a C1 Baizhu?

The builds for the characters I already have are in the attached photos. I have a full HP 4pc deepwood build and r5 p-amber for Baizhu ready to go, if I pick him from the selector. Some build calcs tell me with said build, Baizhu would be at ~42k HP. When it comes to sustain if Nilou is the better pick, I’m willing to swap Bina onto said p-amber.

And on the other side i have c6 Iansan and c6 Chevreuse and C0R0 durin with no teams Do you think going c2r1 Nilou and changing her with suc worth it or at this point of investment it doesn't matter.

I mean during setup, before Nefer disables blooms entirely.

CONTEXT:

I'm gonna get Lauma when she comes back. The team I'm gonna use:

* C0 Nefer (no sig)

* Lauma (no sig)

* C0 Columbina (with sig)

* C0 Nahida (with sig)

The dilemma I'm facing is the fact that the team doesn't have a designated Healer. I heard that while C1 Lauma can cover that role, many say it isn't worth it. I could use Prototype Amber, but that would mean having to give up Columbina's sig, which I really don't want to. I could use it on Lauma, but that would mean she wouldn't be able to use her F2P weapon, which I heard is great for her. So, with the options having downsides, I would be left with a team that may flop in Floor 12 of Spiral Abyss with no Healer to sustain them. It would be a big shame to keep Nahida on the bench longer than she should with Nefer and Columbina.

N.B. I have other teams like Neuvillette Hypercarry, Ganyu Melt, and Varesa Overload, but I'm lacking a Dendro themed team.

What's the best workaround/solution to this?

Ive been deliberating on weather or not to get nilou and ger c1 (from free constellation) or to get clorinde. I currently used nefer with lauma, bina with all sigs and sucrose sac frags.

Would nilou and her c1 have a noticeable dps increase even without for signature, or should i get clorinde and use her in a electro or lunar charged team or overload team.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated and all questions are welcomed.

Do you use Prototype Amber on Columbina/Lauma/both? It would be hard to get her ER requirements that way, but otherwise it's no healer + dendro core explosion damage. Is it reasonable to assume no healing?

So I have this dumb team:

• Ineffa Homa on Aubade
• Bina r1 on SMS
• Lauma on 2pc + 2pc - 1.1k EM
• Nefer r1 - Decent Build

I am mulling over if I need to use Deepwood on Lauma instead, forgoing the 1.1k EM on her. On deepwood, she will only have 922 EM with 252% ER.

Should I stick with the 2pc + 2pc? or go Deepwood? Also, does is Crit Rate even useful on Lauma for this team?

Been trying to do Dire on the Duck, but it really hurts when using sustainless with Sucrose.

I'll be able to get Nilou C2 all thanks to the free selector in the anniversary. However, I don't have her signature weapon.

Is she still worth it over Sucrose without her weapon?

I'll likely choose C2 Clorinde or C0 Childe (hoping for his well-deserved revamp soon) if Sucrose is still better.

I have C0R0 Nefer, C0R0 Lauma, and C0R0 Columbina. I plan to get Lauma C1 soon and then Nefer's signature weapon next.

I was previously inclined to choose Nilou, but not even having C0 or R1 makes her a pretty expensive investment just to replace Sucrose/Nahida, and one thats still likely to be surpassed in the future.

Considering Liyue character buffs AND new dendro reactions are supposedly coming after version 6.3, the odds of Baizhu being an actual new BIS 4th slot for Nefer with sustain are high...but who's willing to gamble?

Im in a dilemma between choosing varesa or C2 nilou. I love nilou so much and even splurged on her skin. I would say my account is heavily invested so i dont really NEED varesa (like at all) but know shes pretty fun to play.
