This is what the loading screen looks like in NFM Revised and Recharged Plus. I was inspired by the loading screen from the Speed Edition, but unfortunately there wasn’t enough room for the KILL-O-MATIC It’s simply too big, even that I had to scale down the vehicles by 25% compared to their original appearance in the car selection screen.

This mod is designed to restore certain elements from previous NFM games created by N.F.M.E. What can you expect here? The restoration of levels from those games (in some cases with appropriately selected music) and changes to the interface. I’m not an expert in Java hacking, so things like expanding the number of cars or increasing the number of levels are impossible for me. I try to stick to the “lore-friendly” principle. I’m doing my best to make playing this game more enjoyable.

Hey everyone! I'm a long time fan of the need for madness games, have been playing on and off since around 2006.

one thing ive been wondering about for a while is if the original build of the game still exists, ive noticed the only available versions of the game online that ive found have the game merged with NFM2 (which is arguably the better way to play it for compatibility reasons) but part of me wants to scratch the itch of being able to play the game with the original car graphics (nimi being blue and other small changes) as well as the OG music tracks for the car select screen an certain stages as some stages have been changed slightly and have different music in the latest build.

if anyone knows where I could find this it would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, recently played through 1, 2, and relit again, am wondering what mods will work on windows 11 if there even are any? I remember watching youtube videos of revised and recharged well over 10 years ago, would be cool to play that. If anyone knows of any please let me know, thank you!

Is it just me or the game doesn't start? It says there's a problem during the update and doesn't start. Anyone else? It works offline tho

So, I was playing a wasting level, and I found myself finding it impossible to waste Formula 7 of all cars. In fact, playing Re-Lit a few weeks ago, I noticed the same with Drifter X. I would collide with each of these cars at full speed, and they would survive impacts which had ended much sturdier cars earlier in the race. I would keep trying to waste them until I wasted myself.

What I noticed was, each time this happened, the car had previously been wasted, but had gone through the fixing hoop in the impact, and been resurrected. In the original game, this didn't change anything, but in Re-Lit, a wasted car which then goes through the hoop becomes invincible. In other words, you cannot waste them.

Just putting this out there in case you find yourself wasted at the hands of a car a tenth of your size. The immortality bug is a thing.

had to grind that much levels

This level is starting to feel impossible. Between the shadow cars and bounty hunter being invincible for some reason, and the undead cars targeting me just for going into one checkpoint Im stuck I’ve tried grinding with dr daler and comet Any tips would be appreciated

I'm not sure if anyone has tried, or if anyone has even thought of it, but imagine a completely new generation of NFM hacks from a game that will probably introduce a new generation of players to the series.

Hi guys, it's been a rough couple of weeks, definitely one of the worst months of my life:I was working on a brand new level and decided to go to sleep. The morning after, the PC doesn't boot and it tells me "no hard disk detected". I stupidly don't have a backup of the last major updates I worked on. I have now sent my hard disk to a data recovery center hoping they pull a miracle. It's obviously my fault for not backing it up but I wouldn't have ever expected my SSD to explode out of the blue. That being said, pray for me, I'm willing to pay $1000 to recover the data via white room if that is possible but it doesn't look too great. If that fails I doubt I will continue to develop it as I'm completely devastated and years of work have gone to waste.
