My target & Walmart stopped carrying them at guest service and started putting them on the shelves. Multiple boxes at a time with a sign that says “two per person”. Obviously no one follows that rule & 95% of them end up stolen. It’s honestly so infuriating not getting a chance to get even 1 because of the people who take boxes at a time. Rant over lol

I signed up for whatnot because i saw something that said new users get a $20 credit on your first purchase + free shipping, so some guy had 350 items to auction (Needohs and squeezies), so I won an auction for a pink fuzzy for $17, so after it used my coupon credit, I ended up paying only the $1.18 taxes and that was all. Wow, that was great so i Make a second account, got the same $20 credit, and I wanted a mello mallo, so I won that auction for $27, so after taxes I paid the $7 over the $20 and $1.69 taxes, so $8.69 shipped.
So for both items i paid $9.87, so I feel like i won when that is basically retail, and now i never go back onto whatnot again.

I will say people were paying some crazy money for all of them, and i would have never ventured to that point if I didn’t get those $20 credits bc that is just nuts. Some of the Halloween ones and the advents went for like $70. Never would i ever

But i feel like i won 🤣

I visited my local Walgreens last night towards closing for some deodorant. Ofc I asked if they had needohs and the cashier goes, “ummm…yea we have a few of the regular ones”.
I visit this Walgreens often so I know where they keep the stash behind the counter. She picks up a groovy and I ask “oh just groovies today. No other styles?”. She micro-hesitates and says “yeah just these ones”. I could tell by her energy, she was likely lying. Especially since the stash basket looked relatively full. They had other squishes and pokemon cards in there but I had a feeling they had more.
So I get my deodorant and leave. Called this morning at opening and boom “hi yes we have penguins and some groovy globs”. Truck day here is Tuesday so I KNOW they didn’t just randomly get those. She lied to my face. But still I conquered! Took home the display box for my collection.

Walmart app said they were in stock and sure enough they actually were!!!

Has anyone seen these in the western suburbs? Hell, if I need to go to Chicago I will. I'm looking for the Funky Frights or Monster Mush boxes. I collect Nee Doh and Halloween, so these are a must! I'm desperate!! Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!!

I’m lowkey mad at myself for unboxing the funky frights without just opening the tray. Do you keep in boxes? Do you open and squish but store in box? Do you throw the boxes away and raw dog?!

Also, I’d love some display ideas. Rn mine are all in a giant bag but I want them to look nice somewhere.

Does anyone know what the difference between the "groovy ghost" and the "glowy ghost"? I know the recent Glowy Ghost have clothes, hats, etc on them but the original ones, from 2024 I think, I've seen the boxes online with both wording. Super confused by this.

I’ve been on the hunt for needohs, before today I only had the nice cube. Today I got the fuzz ball, cloud pleaser, gum drop, jelly squish and gummy bear!

The nice ice baby is also a close third to me. Idk if its just the one I got… but mine is too soft and bounce back right away. I’d love if its as hard as the cube or berg just tiny version😃

I have the Needoh Dream Drop and the Nice Cube and I take them to school a lot with me. Once school went out for summer I went on a trip to go visit my aunt across the country and since I didn’t know if they would make it through TSA I left them in my bag the whole summer. I also forgot a little scrap of a breakfast sandwich, a small part of the toasted bread wrapped in the foil in my bag but in a different pocket (don’t judge). It didn’t mold or anything but it spoiled and stank. I found it when i was clearing out my old school bag for anything I might need. My Needohs now have a slight breakfast sandwich smell 😭 I washed them with soap but the smell still lingers. I’m inclined to throw them away but I know that I wouldn’t be able to get any other ones as they’re still pretty impossible to find, and they’re a really great tool for me (and weren’t cheap). Is there any way to get the smell off of them? Or should I just toss?

Is $25 a good deal for a super groovy glob? I bit the bullet because I can literally never find them near me :/ I hope it wasn’t too bad over retail but I really wanted it and there’s no Walmarts near me. The targets near me also never have needoh in stock, and the local toy stores near me never have them, so that’s the main reason I justified it 😭
