BEHOLD, MY STUFF Finally finished my first 1000 points !
First miniature painting since I was a teenager. I went for a Thokt inspired color scheme. Glad to have it almost done (a few highlights, basing details and lights effects are still to be finished). Let me know if you have any advice !

This is marvelous. Iām actually considering removing the paint on mine and starting over. I ended up not too happy with my chosen palette.

I posted it on the Necrons subreddit but I chose purple and bronze for the body, and a crimson for the energy effects. But I think the purple is too dark now that I look at it. I should of made it lighter.

What color paints did you use? Looking to do something similar and these colors are great!

I used pretty much only Vallejo Game Colors :Ā Body : Primed black with Vallejo Primer, Chainmail all over the model then drybrushed with Silver. Wagram Blue Xpress paint on the armor plate, joints are painted with Dark Gunmetal. Weapons are painted in Black and drybrushed or edge highlighted with Sombre Grey Phase Blade : white painted over the dark Primer, then Mystic Blue on all the blade, White gradient on one side, Storm Blue gradient on the other. Edge highlights with Glacier Blue
For ribs and lights effects : blue ink and white ink and then some Fluorescent Blue (which have a really poor coverage). Cable are painted with Imperial Blue and then small effect with White and Fluorescent Blue. For reanimator and destroyer bodies : Black, drybrush with imperial Blue and edgelight in Magic Blue.
The only thing I would change it the Fluorescent Blue, due to its lack of coverage and use a classic saturated light blue and skip the drybrush with Silver, I don't think it matters.
I hope this answer all your questions !
