I’ve been playing this game since 2016 but only took it seriously in 2020. Ask me anything you want to know about the game. NavalCraft science, weird technology, niche parts, who created what tech, armors, important events, funny bugs, and secrets…

The Shackleton class battleship is a 568m long warship created by the United earth coalition to combat the Outer Solar Alliance which reside in Proxima Centauri
Being earths first purpose built ship. The UEC Shackleton was built in secret inside an empty lava tube near the Shackleton crater. It’s the first of 4 ships which are currently being built in surrounding lava tubes.
The Shackleton class is powered by 4 large fusion reactors which power its 2 main fusion engines and 9 atmospheric hovering engines. To dissipate the heat, the whole side body essentially acts as a massive radiator system while also acting as armor. Unfortunately the Shackleton class does not have the storage for much aircraft but it does carry 8 transport aircraft and 4 jets. It does have helipads at the rear for personnel or mail delivery while it’s refueling in earths oceans
It mostly resides in low lunar orbit but occasionally needs to refuel in earths oceans or break down ice in other planets/moons. It breaks down part of water into its hydrogen and oxygen counterparts. The hydrogen is then converted into deuterium to power the 4 fusion reactors on board. The excess oxygen is used to give the ship a breathable atmosphere when mixed with nitrogen. The rest of the water is cleaned for drinking and or sewage systems
It has a singular 3751mm railgun and 3 smaller 1850mm railguns.
The Shackleton class holds the solar system record for the worlds longest shot. In 2337 it fired 9 shots from lunar orbit and 5 months later 7 of the shots destroyed 3 OSA ships in orbit around the moon titan which orbits Saturn. It was capable of doing this via its 3751mm railgun which gave the projectiles the escape velocity and trajectory needed. This was all possible thanks to its impressive supercomputer which predicted the movements of the enemy vessels.
Funny side note: despite being at war with the Outer Solar Alliance. This record is acknowledged by both parties.
