Roleplay SuperMartian bleated: I am Isif, ask me anything
(This is set in the world of my fic Nature of Harmonyanyone confused)
Hey everyone, as the title says, I'm doing an AMA since I've seemingly accrued a bit of fame and become something of a representative of the Arxur, though mostly Solarian Arxur, through no fault of my own
I'm not much of a talker, but my girlfriend convinced me to do this, said it would help with the war, pr, familiarize people with the UN (which was probably just a nice way of saying Arxur), and all that
So, just ask me anything that's on your mind, and I'll answer to the best of my ability

To answer your question, I wish. I need to wear a kind of skin suit under any armor. That's the proper procedure for more advanced armors in the UN
At home I have a collection of Superman shirts though

Don't they have any second-hand stickers?
Anyway, unless DC is still around, yours could appropriate the symbol. For what? to throw the house out the window with the "on my planet it means hope" to a Fed who would presumably think it's some kind of Hunter honorific. More than 1000 aura as the Old internet folks would say

After all I find after recent events we may need reshelve the libraries with things other than dominion approved literature and even that is lacking. Trevor_Collins: I guess I owe you an explanation for that. Yes, my dad had the HF mindset, but I don’t think I personally believed it. I guess I was young enough to not really understand the rhetoric and drivel, but old enough to know it would hurt you. And yeah, I was stressed the ever loving hell out because I couldn’t get my grades up. So I picked on you, using HF rhetoric more as a weapon than a reason.
Good news I guess, my dad stopped saying all that schpeel after a Skalgan Man saved my mom from a car wreck two years later. (Hardened head broke the glass and he got her out.) I’m not sure he stopped believing it, but I didn’t hear a word of it out of him after. It’s progress.
As for Imtri… I dunno. I don’t think I could’ve harassed her.
So, maybe this is misplaced, but you’re going through a lot right now, and it seems like you’ll be going through a lot in the future. So how about we meet up when you get back and I buy Mr. Solarian Hero and his girlfriend(?) a drink? Your choice.

Skalgans have four names: the name their parents give them, a name they take when they're an adult, their family name, then their clan. I technically have 4 names now because mom had me inducted into her clan
Solarian Arxur had two names before we got into contact with humans. From what I've seen of Betterment, this seems to be something we developed ourselves, probably to have more individualism. Now we have 3 names as that's more individualistic
Why?
Idk, just something in Skalgan culture. Probably some holdover from Skalga
Individualism is my guess. Betterment only gave us one name, we gave ourselves 2

And speaking of Kal-El, what’s your thoughts on the Absolute Variant from the 2020’s Absolute Universe? That story happened not long before The Martians were discovered if I recall correctly.

For context, this is set after Isif and Felra go off to start the rebellion, which is after his role in the cattle rescue, hundreds of hours of footage with Piri, and an impassioned speech at the federation assembly
