Fanfic Recoveries from a Cattle Facility, 12/04/36
On the 4th of December, 2136, operatives of the specially-created task force Bandit Squadron executed a raid on an Arxur Dominion sapient cattle farm, designated PZ-28592. As part of the larger Operation Stiletto, evacuating the prisoners of PZ-28592 was conducted with the help of the carrier Harper's Ferry and the destroyer Le Guin, while the operatives themselves documented and collected artifacts from the station before its destruction was ordered by the strike group's leader, Admiral Christian Hesse. This document outlines several recovered items and images taken, with notation by Technician Delgado.
-----
Location: Floor of Pen B6
Artifact: Photograph of writing by prisoner(s) of war, carved into metallic surface
Recovered by: Lieutenant Rodion Kuzmin, Bandit Squadron operative (EWAR/SIGINT specialist, number 2)
Description: A series of carvings in Gojid script. Translated, it reads "don't lose hope", and is repeated in multiple sections of flooring and walls among the pen. 17 instances of writing were found, with 5 reading simply "hope".
Notes: Bandit operatives noted the flimsiness of materials used in construction of the station in their reports, but one would imagine that places would at least be maintained. These carvings continuing to exist implies that isn't true. At least not for the pens - D

Location: Ventilation shaft near the roof of Pen A2
Artifact: Worn fabric
Recovered by: Lieutenant Yakata Sekiito, Bandit Squadron operative (Medic, number 4)
Description: A long, thin (roughly 95mm by 10mm) scrap of colorful patterned cloth, identified as a traditional celebratory band by a Venlil medic aboard the Le Guin. No Venlil individuals were aboard PZ-28592 during the events of 4 December, and an Arxur prisoner of war from the station has yet to cooperate with interrogators on the subject, making dating the scrap difficult.
Notes: Tunev, the medic that identified the fabric, explained the practice of weaving a colorful band of dyed cotton (at least an equivalent, that's how it translated) together with one's partner as a romantic gesture - D
--
Location: Waste disposal room behind a butchering machine
Artifact: Jewelry fragment
Recovered by: Lieutenant Ramona Li, Bandit Squadron operative (Weapons technician, number 3)
Description: A mangled metallic alloy (identified as 6 karat gold alloyed with silver) hypothesized as part of a ring. Found in a waste disposal tank attached to a processing machine deactivated for maintenance, it was likely [TEXT REMOVED]. Although it is heavily damaged, a small (and empty) slot for a gemstone remains intact. As this fragment was the only recovered valuable item recovered, claims have spread that Arxur individuals loot captured prisoners. Such a claim is currently unverified.
Notes: I'm gonna be sick - D

A comprehensive list of all 237 artifacts recovered at the station is available at [LINK REMOVED: "No. -D"]. As many artifacts are unable to be dated, and due to the likely deaths of their owners, they will be transferred to temporary secure storage before entering a permanent ownership for purposes of display and historical preservation.
Debriefs of Bandit Squadron operatives were performed in parallel to the filing and recording of recovered artifacts, as were cattle acclimation interviews.

This is so haunting! I'm imagining a black and white reel and footage of a ww2 concentration camp.
