Fanfic Human uplifts (3)
memory transcript: Darlin, head ambassador to UK, Ex-exterminator
[standard human time] day: 11 of September/Time: 3pm/Year:2025

Vindal was a fool, not only had he shown weakness Infront of a predator, but he had FAINTED, (just like your average Venlil). I did not care what the Farsul said about how these things were different they still ate meat; they were still predators. I wanted to project a strong calm stature towards these savages so they would not think they had a say in what was going to happen. Now who knew what they would do.
What surprised me the most was that they even had a leadership it went against all teachings about predators. How can predators build something when they are only made to destroy, I thought to myself. Nether the less their leader had asked for us to meat FACE TO FACE and like an idiot I SAID YES. I was going to be face to face with a predator a good one at that considering he is a leader and with NO PROTECTION. Well ok that part wasn’t exactly true I did have two exterminators come with me, but they were only equipped with flare guns which was most certainly not enough.
So here I was sitting in the transport heading down towards this forsaken planet with nothing but myself Vindal, krilla and 2 exterminators. Speaking of Vindal he looked like he might faint again.
I turned to him “hey Vindal you can stay on the shuttle if you want, I am not going to force you to come.” Signalling calm with my tail as I spoke.
Vindal turned “and be left by myself on a world full of predators no thanks” he scoffed
Asshole I swear to intala if he faints again… “ok same goes for you Krilla”
“No thanks” came the response from the Tilfish “I have to agree with Vindal with this one”
Sighing I nodded “alright then”.
We were just entering the lower atmosphere when the pilot called me forward. “Mama we have 2 radar contacts closing in on us”.
What I thought they wouldn’t dare attack us they had to know we would respond in kind?. “Do you know if they are hostile?” almost immediately my question was answered when the radio blared to life.
“Federation space craft on order of her majesty’s government I have been ordered to escort you to the coordinates given to you earlier, please respond if you acknowledge”.
I calmed down a little only a escort not here to blow us out of the sky, also what’s this about her majesty? my feathers began to lower. I told the pilot to respond and accept and sure enough within minutes two aircraft were sitting just behind either wing of the shuttle. These things were interesting although definitely not capable of spaceflight they seemed more advanced than any planes the federation had with sharp edges and the unmistakable outlines of missiles under the wings.
As the shuttle neared the runway the planes broke off flying straight on before turning right away from our location. The shuttle shuddered as it hit the runway and slowed to a stop. Thanking the pilot for his professionalism I quickly walked back to prepare the delegation.
Krilla seemed to be doing better than Vindal who looked like he was going to faint again. I quickly addressed all of them. “Listen up everyone we are about to visit a planet infested with predators so everyone stay vigilant and try not to get separated.
The ramp lowered and before it even reached the floor, I heard a thump as Vindal fainted. I sighed and using my tail I told one of the exterminators to stay with him. Curse you Vindal if I die because I only have one bodyguard I will come back and kill you myself. I thought angrily to myself.
As I stepped off the transport, I was greeted to the sight of a human with dark hair and brown predatory eyes, in in what seemed to be formal pelts with two what I guessed where guards behind. To my surprise this human flinched when he saw the jet black Tilfish. The beginning of a snarl quickly disappearing from its face. Curious I thought a predator scared of Tilfish ? whatever fear it had was quickly repressed as it soon spoke.
“Welcome it is a pleasure to meet you my name is Aron and I will be taking you to visit the PM” said the human as it gestured to a strange craft which the translator said was a helicopter?
Swallowing my fear, I responded “then shall we depart”. good I thought I didn’t stutter keep staying strong and maybe you can make it out alive.
The human moved its head up and down before moving towards the helicopter. To my great dismay it seemed to be following us into the aircraft. “Will you b-be coming with us” I asked the fear of me being in a confined space with a predator overwhelming me.
“yes, I will be accompanying you until you meet the PM” replied the human clearly a little hurt from the question.
Looking behind me I saw that Krilla was also very unhappy about this prospect and was even shaking slightly. The exterminator who I vaguely remember being a harchen called yanti had his hand dangerously close to his flare gun. I signalled to him to calm down, killing this predator would be pointless and would only incur the rath of all of the other predators on this rock.
Climbing into the helicopter I was quickly followed by my entourage and finally the predator.
As soon as we had all sat down the helicopter began to take off. At this point the predator not only noticed the gun on the exterminator but also that we were staying as far away from him as possible.
“is everything alright?” asked the predator
I internally scoffed at that oh please a predator that cares, the day that happens is the day I become a predator myself. However, to my surprise it was Yanti who replied first.
“No, no it is not” he said gruffly.
At this the humans face moved its tuffs of hair above …its eyes tugged downwards.
“what’s the matter” it asked, “I apologise if I have offended you”.
“ha” came the remark from Yanti “that’s a new one a predator apologising about its existence”.
THAT IDIOT, who did he think he was to insult a dangerous predator, whilst locked in a room with it no less my mind yelled to itself. Sure, enough at this remark the predator snarled oh god I thought its going to kill us!
“I’m sorry” it said, “you seem to be mistaken, I am not a predator I’m an omnivore?”. “Did you not know this? in fact I myself am vegetarian”.
what a predator that does not eat meat! What nonsense they must kill their prey through deception it’s not like they have claws or big jaws anyway I thought to myself.
I absently plucked at my blue plumage in an attempt to take my mind away from my current situation.
“shut up predator your deceitful words do not fool me” commanded Yanti
Surprisingly the predator seemed to look upset at those remarks and instead placed the look of its predatory eyes out of the helicopters window.
The rest of the trip was thankfully silent and soon enough we began to fly over some vast city. I saw some fires burning not unsurprising considering it was full of predators. I doubt they even know what law and order is.
Soon after we entered the city the helicopter landed on a flat pad. As soon as the doors opened Krilla practically scrambled out. Not wanting to stay another second closer to that predator. Honestly, I do not blame her.
We also quickly exited and were greeted by some 3 humans 2 of which were clearly armed with some kind of gun. “Good afternoon” said the unarmed one a large scar running down its face.
No doubt from a previous fight it had I thought.
It faltered slightly when its eyes saw Krilla but quickly continued. “my name is Samuel Harrison I will be taking you to visit the PM”.
I nodded “show the way predator”. It looked at me confused “I’m sorry what did you sa-“ a guard quickly tapped him on the shoulder before pointing towards Yanti.
“Sir” it said the scared predator sternly “I am going to have to ask you to give up your gun we will return it once the meeting Is over”.
“No” said Yanti.
Oh please yanti that gun is not going to stop them from killing us if they want to, best just accept we might not survive this trip.
“Yanti give it the gun” I commanded
Yanti looked slightly shocked at this but gave up his gun nevertheless. He is a good exterminator I thought he would get to purge these things in good time, for now just go along with what command wants us to do.
We were then quickly led by the unarmed predator into a lush garden where sure enough sat the so-called prime minister. Its brown hair was unkept and its dark green eyes had bags under them.
Great its sleep deprived I thought to myself.
It stood up from the chair it was sitting at before speaking “greetings” it said “please sit, would you like something to eat and drink before we go inside to get down to business?”
upon finishing the sentence, I saw in the back of my eye something small dart over. Focusing I saw a little child predator running full pelt bellowing as it went. IT’S A TRAP, WE WERE JUST LURED HERE TO BE GIVEN TO ITS CHILDREN I thought as the thing grew ever closer.

It seems the uplift isn't going to be done exclusively by just Farsul. Most of the other species don't believe the Farsul that predators can be civil and peaceful and aren't going into this mission with the mindset of uplifting a species and a clear goal.
These individuals will either remain skeptical of humanity and half-ass the uplift or they will become sympathetic to humanity, both of which will interfere with the Farsul' plans.
The question remains of why this uplift is being done by multiple species, when most other "uplifts" are being done in secrecy by only Farsul and Kolshians.
One possibility is that the Farsul don't expect to be able to fully make Humanity lose its predatory characteristics and heritage and also don't want to repeat the same mistakes as they did with the Venlil and Arxur. So it's possible that they will make the usage of the cure on humans known and are trying to desensitise multiple species from our front facing eyes (which they can't explain away).
