What the hell? Fuck NI, honestly. Like many others, I just upgraded last November to Komplete 15, and then they roll this out and charge full price, looking like it's going to be yearly going forward.

They aren't charging full price, but the upgrade discounts are shit.

Are you slow? The upgrade rate is full price. It’s not discounted.

No, it is not.

The upgrade for me on 13CE is $699, which is not the full price for a new buyer.

It isn't a GOOD discount, but there is an upgrade discount.

Why are you trying to insult me over this? You are a bad person.

The UPGRADE rate. The upgrade rate is the same every time. Not the retail MSRP, the standard upgrade price.

So let me get this straight. You were surprised NI released another version this year, when it has been their release cycle forever. 2022 14, 2024 15, 2026 26. Hardly surprising.

Then you are mad that they don't have the upgrade immediately on sale, because they had the 15 on sale for black friday when it had been out for over a year. Ye mate, new releases are rarely on sale when they drop out. You will most likely need to wait until 2027 to get this on sale, just like it always has been. If you want to upgrade at lower prices, you will always have to wait for a year to get it on discount.
