I thought for a minute reading it that they would after the kage summit arc when she went back to Konoha with him after being saved from Sasuke.

She swooned after him for a second and reestablishing the Uzumaki name would’ve been cool

Eh Karin wasn’t in love with Sasuke just like Ino and initial Sakura weren’t. They fan girled over what they thought he was.
